Oh, I could do with some clarification. I'm going to be away for 2 weeks on the 15th, with limited internet access. Provided I submit the texture pack before then, there's nothing to make me ineligible to enter the contest, is there?

Yeah, that's fine. So long as the pack is submitted before or on August 20th, it's an eligible pack.

Interesting choice of color for stone. Don't you think you should redo Oak and Pine logs, though? Doesn't match Birch.
...
No, because birch trees dont have the same texture as oak and pine trees in real life, so why make them the same now?
I will be changing pine to look more "pine-ish" though.

I meant more of in detail. Birch gets darker at the edges, and neither Oak nor Pine gets darker at the edges.
Woo, submission time! Also, Seradicus, you might want to add a rule saying not to steal other people's textures. If anyone needs me for some reason, I'll still have easy internet access for the rest of today, and tomorrow morning (I'm in GMT+1/BST). After that, I'll be periodically able to check the thread if anything needs changing, but I won't be able to do much since I'll be away.
Good luck to everyone else!

Clarification: You can not use the pastel or transparent colors of Paint.NET's palette, though you can add partial transparency to blocks that support it, so long as you provide an opaque version of the texture within your submission.
So transparency is allowed, as long as you don't blend (and provide an opaque version as proof).
I decided to make a 64x pack and this is almost all of what I have so far. I know that there are a few small tiling errors, such as the sand, and I will fix them later.

Your entry is being added to the op, as well as the rule about theft.

Every challenge has to have a 64x pack!
You do need to work on that tiling.
Anyone submitting an entry from this point on, it would be greatly appreciated if you would have your image locations shown, as well as the image. It's not necessary, but it makes it a lot easier.
If you feel the need to have any extra text, it will be added to the submission page at request, and licenses will be added if in the submission post.
Downloads will also be included in the entry section, and the entries will be moved to the top of the op come the beginning of voting.
Why people no posting their progress anymore? I know BlobMan is done, and even though I'm not competing anymore I would still like to see some progress

I think the lighting on the TNT is backwards.

I'm actually liking it too. xD Joining the crowd and making a simple 8x pack. But it's epic and square and I even have a name! xD This is pretty fun.
I didn't realize insane people would be joining.
Life stuff first, always

Almost done, just a few textures left to do.
Also, do we need to do the block breaking texture?
I'll assume it is and proceed accordingly.I just read the rules again. Okay, it's a go.
Redstone ore... once you see the face, you can't unsee it.
Since it's just an overlay, I'm gonna say no.
Zamaj in the house! Have fun.
Good luck to everyone else!

Look on page six for mine.
Then hurry up and show us some progress! Pretty bare thread as it is now.
31/2 days remain
Now would be the time to speak up about needing an extension.
