I am having a problem with hd texture packs from 128 to 256 resolution. I have installed the mcpatcher and it doesnt seem to fix the problem. This is all on a mac by the way. I don't know whats causing it or how to fix it. The weird thing about this is when I first install the mcpatcher it works just fine, but after a few days it does this. Any ideas on how to get this fixed?
modloader, timber mod, TMI, Rei's Minimap, and SPC were the mods i had installed.
IIRC, you have to patch with MCPatcher BEFORE you try to install any more mods. Might be wrong though, been a while since I used the patcher with mods installed.

i tried using optifine this time and that is what i got. but yes before i was using optifine i did use the mcpatcher before i installed the mods. i dont have an option to do it after because i would get an error message saying that the minecraft.jar had been changed or corrupted.
i was thinking earlier it could've been something with the mods but the patcher worked for a couple of days after i had installed them.

Start with a fresh minecraft.jar and install all the mods and then patch. If that doesn't work then start with a clean minecraft.jar again but this time patch first and then installed the mods. One of those should work
i suppose i could try that but i would have to start with a fresh minecraft. i have at least 4 different mods installed.
actually, are there other programs that fix the hd textures besides the mcpatcher?
don't expect me to be on much.
He may have done it incorrectly or had previous conflicting mods installed.
