One suggestion, you should do a bumpmap and specular map version later after you finish. (If you still have to use that method) That way people can use different shaders with this.
I'm not committing to anything yet, but it is likely i'll focus on vanilla supported fancy stuff first (i.e. animations where it makes sense), but who knows? But your vote cast for bump maps is noted.
Thank you for not keeping the potatoes and carrots looking like clumps of glowsticks shoved in the ground. They're seriously such an awful colour.

The default, ripe wheat is what bugged me the most. "Golden waves of grain" are in real life quite pretty, but the default is ugly, and looked nothing like the real thing, and as a gameplay fail isn't easy to distinguish from almost ripe wheat.

I agree, that it needs more work. It's slated for revision, but at the moment i'm focusing on completing all the block textures.

Due to popular demand, all the Veggies, and other natural blocks are now completed. 30 new PNGs in all, takes us to 82% of block PNGs done. With the power of 1.6.2 Melon and Pumpkin vines are visually, (and realistically) distinct-- no mods needed.
My gallery isn't keeping up with the pack very well. If anyone has some nice screenshots of Lithos that feature the blocks well (no nights scenes of huge builds in the distance, please), i'll be glad to include them in the OP with credit.
Love this pack, and to anyone worried about how WIP it is, I would recommend taking the faithful pack and just merging them, so you get any of these awesome textures but still get all 32x32. Some things may not seem quite right but IMO its the best way to go. Really hope this pack keeps going the way it is, awesome work.

The previous release had glitchy "fancy" Jungle Leaves-- partial transparency that reacts weirdly with the background. This latest release fixes that block.

And if you don't mind that I have the mix-match in my videos would you mind if I let my viewers (if I get any) download it?

Now we're up to 85% of block PNGs done. I've just finished off the storage blocks: Gold, Lapis, Diamond, & Coal. Also added are the Iron Door, Sponge, and Portal animation.
The Texture Pack version for 1.5.x is back. I don't know if it is worth while to maintain both-- but we'll see what the download numbers say.

wow. i am stunned. this resource pack would be AMAZING with some aethetics mods, like shaders, water shaders (unless already a feature in shaders, duh) animated players - oh god, just imagine, steve on a horse, staring of into an orangish sunset, across the semi-wavey ocean with a forest on the side and its leaves and tallgrass bobbing up and down, in the backround a snow-capped mountain - wait when this resource pack comes out and all the said mods come out for 1.6 then i might try getting a snapshot of that, front and back to advertise/celebrate the release of this resource pack because IT IS AWESOME.

I'm spending an hour, usually more on this most days, so unless i get a rich patron i'm not going to go any faster.
The next update, probably within a few days, will finish off all the nature/plant blocks, and take me to ~80% of blocks complete.
And i've barely started items, mobs, GUI, etc.
But i'm glad you're enjoying it.
