This is absolutely my favorite pack to use ever. +1 to you good sir :). I just have one question. I understand that this pack was created especially for use with creative mode and for adventure maps. But its just too good a pack to not use all the time. It even works quite well for use in multiplayer servers. But the ores and ore blocks just dont work too well in that regard.
Have you considered adding ore textures and ore block textures that would go along with multiplayer rather then be textured to use as building blocks in adventure maps? I've ended up retexturing the ores to look like the redstone ore just with their respective ore colors. While not amazing like your work, it truly makes this pack useful in every situation.
I'm new to minecraft forums. Can someone tell me how to install texture packs?
first; download https://github.com/d...tcher-2.4.3.exe.
Run McPatcher and click "Patch". After that follow this youtube video on installing texturepacks and you're all set. . If you need any more help, feel free to PM me.
Back to on-topic: I am a huge fan of revival. I could never find a good sci fi texture pack that either was updated, or was poor quality. You sir, have solved this problem. 1000x thank you. Quick note: Using Optifine-1.3.2-HD-U-B3 does not display the night-time skybox (The stary one), it does however use the custom colors just fine. This probably isn't a feature of optifine, but in case it is I'd figure I should post it. Again, thank you. You have my diamonds on Planetminecraft.
The problem in Optifine seems to be the "connect=metadata", if you remove that from the properties, all the mushrooms works. And optifine is doing the metadata recognition automatically so you dont need it either. Dont know if it works with MCpatcher now tho.
I can confirm that the mushrooms work in McPatcher. However I can't find the options to remove "connect=metadata". I'm looking in options.txt and optionsof.txt.
This is a cool pack. But if I use the pack, the game lags when the night comes. You should replace the night sky background first with the original Minecraft one.

Try turning off "Better Sky" or whatever that mod is called in MCPatcher and it should revert back to the original Minecraft sky. Let us know if the lag is reduced.

My policy: cobble stuff together and hope it sticks... which happens quite often seeing as cobblestone just floats there. Weird...
This pack is just EPIC. I'm starting an Aliens machinima, and this is totally going to be the pack i use. (full credits of course) Job well done. I cant wait till it gets updated to 1.4!!!! Looking forward to your future work.
I haven't forgotten about this pack! I'm going to update it after I'm done with Revival, but it's going to take more time (will probably be sometime early November (don't hold me to this)).

My ideas:
- Zombies should be like stroggs, gory looking half cyborg half human undead creatures
- Spiders should look like outright aliens, shouldn't be too hard
- Skeletons should look like robotic soldiers
- Creepers should be either aliens or robots

reminds me a bit of parasite eve 2 crossed with doom, for some reason.
Snakelike patterns only 1 block wide?
How? JUST HOW?
He could.
It's possible.
I could too if you want.
Come on dude answer my question... pwease?
Have you met me ever? I've been trying to figure that out for ages.
Also, I looked at EVERYTHING in MCPatcher thread related to CTM and nothing about any methods which are "snakelike"
Please help me SMP.
Please!
