I would like to make a suggestion for a possible update: These packs are great. I haven't looked very long for texture packs with a similar goal, but these take the cake. I love that you try hard not to alter the original concept for the textures, yet still keep up with the HD style that is so popular.
However, the one thing that I would really appreciate, is if the textures for the tools (specifically the sword and pickaxe) were to be kept in the 8-bit, blocky style as they originally were, but (as had been done with most other block textures) with HD pixelation. Even on the 32x32, they don't feel very authentic. I don't know if it's possible to use higher definition player skins, but the smooth tools just don't match anything, and feel sorta' out of place. I thank you for your consideration. Keep up the great work!
I'll just leave this here:
Future plans:
After tons of different feedback from you, users, on Facebook, I've decided that one version of R3D.CRAFT is not enough. Some want's smooth curved edges (especially on the tools), and some of you want the already square-shaped edges (like in the default texture). This is why I plan to make two versions of R3D.CRAFT. One called "R3D.CRAFT ORIGINAL" and one called "R3D.CRAFT SMOOTH".
exactly what he said and im finished porting all but the mobs
you can also add it to this post/thread if you want
I haven't really been thinking about the Pocket Edition that much, but was planning to do that when R3D is done. If you really want to make R3D work with the pocket edition right now, then sure. Go ahead. I guess people would appreciate it.
The only restriction I have to set is that you can't post this anywhere else than here, or on my threads at Planet Minecraft. You will be credited after your desire, of course. I won't try to take any credit for making that version (I do take credits for the textures themselves).
When R3D is finished, I will start making the Pocket Edition version from there. I won't use any of your work in that version, if there is any additional files than just what you find in my texture right now.
If you continue to finish this version, thank you.
(I wan't to note I have no clue what the pocket edition texture packs conclude and in what file form they are).
Well i did the .bat procedure to fix the no memory bug, but it didnt work, the bat opened a comand window saying :
"ERROR : UNABLE TO ACESS .jarfile Minecraft.exe"
I have 2GB allocated on the Java application and it still says im out of memory,
Im running ona 64 bit java version and a 64 bit W7, 6GM Ram Quad core
I'm not sure how your computer is up for 512x512. It's really for those with the most ultimate computers, who seek most quality in-game. I can barely even run R3D.CRAFT myself, without some lagg -spikes here and there.
I guess that isn't the problem here, because then your client would have said something about memory. I suggest you to go over to LB Photo Realism's thread. Scuttles have posted a nice bat-file that should work for everyone.
Are you going to do the paintings? And also, how did you get that water on those pictures to look like that?
The water on the picture, the one placed on the front page, is a highly edited photo where the clouds and the water is edited in. This is actually a scene from BLUR, which is a cinematic video I'm currently editing. The water is from the water shader mod and the clouds are real clouds.
In addition to understanding how to manipulate images and play with them, I can also edit video footage. I have a channel on YouTube, called Uniblue Media.
Just some friendly info on those mods you are willing to support. Tekkit isn't just a single mod but a collection of mods put together into a single pack. With Tekkit you'll be providing textures to mods such as Redpower 2, IndustrialCraft, Buildcraft, Mo' Creatures, etc... Tekkit also has a bad reputation among the mod authors because they never gave permission for their mods to be used in the technic/tekkit pack, just a heads up.
Also, Too Many Items has been widely replaced by a more improved version named Not Enough Items, I would suggest putting that up for a vote rather than TMI.
Lastly, I've been using this texture pack since it's 40% days and think that it is without a doubt the best one out there. In the early days I played vanilla minecraft and only used your texture pack but as of late I've been an avid minecrafter with mods and sadly the contrast between your texture pack and those items not supported by it are too great for me to ignore. I can't wait to see this texture pack support some of those mods as I'll definitely be using this then. Keep up the great work!
Thank you for the detailed information. I didn't knew this. Nor do I know enough about the Minecraft modding community either.
I'll add Not Enough Items to the poll and remove Red Power 2, as it is in the Tekkit pack. Shame Tekkit have stolen mods from others. I won't mix the stolen mods into the Tekkit mod-support-pack as it's ethically wrong.
NEI isn't much better than TMI! the installation of toomanyitems is much easyer, it hasn't got any real dependencies for the most important functions. For NMI to work you need the ChickenCore mod, and it's updated as often as TMI (there'S a version for most snapshots a day or so after it was released.
I've added both to the poll so we'll see what the rest thinks
can't wait for 100% finish. I downloaded 64x version and started inspecting blocks in my world like i never did Stone slab could have a pixel wide shades or shadows though, maybe even wood too inside those dark gaps of planks.
Hello! I would like to do the adaptation for the Russian server GreenCubes. I want to get permission to change and share the modified copie of your texturepack with your copyrights.

Could you please give me some more information through a personal message (PM). Like why you want to make it different. How it will appear after your editing. Just more info about it. I'll probably ask you some questions.

ITS NOT FINISHED YET!
A mod. The water shaders mod. Takes a lot of power to run it. Especially with HD packs. Not updated anyway.

What do you mean by "feature" and what do you mean by "my site"? Explain
I update all the versions at the same time (or in the same day). I haven't updated any version since 90%.
