I was bored one day and had seen a 4x4 texture pack earlier. I thought 'Why not make a 2x2 texture pack?' and so it began.
I have changed all blocks, creepers, and pigs. Items, water, lava, and other mobs are coming soon. I cheated a bit on the mobs, they're 4x4, but it's impossible to make a 2x2 per 16 pixels mob. The 4x4 guy made his 8x8.
To clear this up, I made the textures 2x2 in a 32x32 terrain.png and resized them to normal size so that you do not need mcpatcher. Some people might say this is 16x16. I disagree, but call it whatever you like.

Why? I just resized it so the textures would work... Look at this one: His is 16x16.
A 2x2 texture pack means there are 4 pixels per block. You have 4 colors per block. That's different. You still have 16 pixels on one edge, 16 pixels on the others. Therefore it is a 16x16 texture pack. Period.

I dont understand. I made all of the textures in a 32x32 terrain.png. I resized it so you don't need MCPatcher...

How do I use spoiler tags?
When you resized it, it added more pixels. Resizing doesn't change the size of pixels, only the number. If you left it at 32x32, then it would've been a 2x2 pack. I think you'll find most people don't mind using MCPatcher.

Install textures normally for Aether!
it has to be 256x256, it's not (yet) possible to shrink it down that much.
And it reminds me of sonic, too.
But the textures themselves are 2x2.
You are using paint.net? Then press "image" then resize and make the width and hight 32 pixels.
You are using Photoshop? Then press "image" then change image size and make the width and highth 32 pixels.
If the terrain is 256x256, then it's a 16x pack. End of.
It's only a 2x pack if the terrain is 32x32.

Here is some screen shots
I do not know what is wrong with the pumpkins
That's the best I could do with 4 pixels :tongue.gif:
