So I've been wondering, why is it that every time minecraft gets updated, all my texture packs get broken until each respective author updates their work? If I can learn how to fix my packs myself, it'd make life a lot easier! You might want to sticky the answer somewhere easy to find, too. Thanks!

They don't get broken, it's just that new textures get added and some other textures get moved around. You can still use the pack but you might not be able to see the new stuff or it'll look strange if you can see it.
The way to fix this is to copy the new textures from an up to date texture pack into the outdated pack and then play :smile.gif:
