I'm just grasping at straws I'm sure, but I wish the 128x version would make a comeback. When our server goes public it'll be using spoutcraft enforced texture packs to provide a universal theme for all to enjoy, and this was one of the packs we were seriously considering, but we've decided on 128x texture resolution. Most of the problems we've experienced in testing with our users has not been one of a computer not being able to handle it, but in using the wrong version or Java (either outdated or x86 when x64 is needed).
Changes:
> Fixed some inventory icon problems (dead chickens, cocoa beans)
> Rotated the shears because the default rotation was bad
> Modified rose texture to look more like the icon
> New 3d cake textures to look more like the icon
> Added a custom menu background
Nice work! I guess you deserve a I mean And I mean ***** And I mean ***** And I mean ***** And I mean ***** And I mean I meant !

Would ya click on that ^? I'd like it!
Remarkable :smile.gif: It looks. Great... I don't usually like the very detailed texture packs because I feel it changes the purpose of minecraft. But I like it.
Great pack! If you have heard of the wayukian pack, the owner is updating it still for 1.9 so in the meantime this is my 2nd fav texture pack. I am VERY picky about my texture packs :tongue.gif:

Very nice, i loved the carvings on blocks. My new texture pack for ancient buildings!
You should remove Vvardenfell's map from paintings or Bethesda might sue you for it...(Am i the only one figgured it?)
Yes you are. I was wondering if someone would notice. :tongue.gif:
I think it's unlikely that they'll find out. Anyway, I'm not selling this so I don't think it matters...
Yea, found it last night. Tried it out, cuts my fps from 70+ to like 16 so I'll not be using it >.< Wish it wasn't that hard on my PC.
Edit: Oh you mean the water... Yeah, even for me it drops from 100+ to about 50. I'm not using it either because it replaces the classes for my view distance mod and I'd prefer extended view distance over reflective water. The view distance mod has better performance too, surprisingly.
Haha. I know the mushrooms and flowers suck. I want to redesign them but I haven't though of any good ideas for them yet. I might do it with the saplings and wheat too.
As for the other objections, they are things I know and left that way on purpose. The reason for the clouds is to create a gloomier atmosphere. I know that the edges are "sharp", but I don't think the default clouds fit with the pack. If you want them, you can replace them with the originals though. A lot of texture packs use the original or you can get it from the minecraft.jar. It's clouds.png under the environment folder, I think.
The smooth slabs are... like that because I think it makes more sense for them to be closer to the color of stone than to be much brighter... I'm sorry. :tongue.gif: I guess it's good that you like everything else. Thanks for a reply that actually has some descriptive stuff instead of just a single line.
Holy notch this looks awesome. Pure talent = awesome. Pure Talent + Hi-res = even more so.
The one thing I'm concerned about is the nether: looking at the terrain.png the nether seems to be textures that one would only use for building, not for actually exploring the nether.
I love your texture pack, the absolute best I've ever seen =), but I don't like the textures of that mod.
It's unlikely because I will have to finish textures for all future versions and I'm honestly not very enthusiastic about making item icon textures. I probably won't make any mod textures. If I do, I'll consider it but there are other mods that have been requested as well.

Okay, thanks anyway :biggrin.gif:. Still my all time favorite texture pack :smile.gif:.
for anyone who was considering downloading but didn't know if they would like it, and for anyone who wants to simply look at them. It's also linked from the images in the first post.
You should think about creating some animated blocks using McPatcher's new animation options. Pretty much ANYTHING can be animated if you're using McPatcher now, so you can make stuff like weaving wheat, glowing glowstone, animated fire in the furnace, or a burning torch, etc. :tongue.gif:
Regardless, great pack and keep up the good work!
Edit-
Correction, the water seems to be from a separate mod. Guess I need to get to hunting.

And it has been updated but it's just to fix a few things.

The most obvious change, the cake textures:

No, there was 128x before version 5 and I discontinued it for various reasons. They're in the notes in the first post if you want to read about them.
Use the patcher noob:

And make sure you select custom water.

Because every hero needs a villain.
