i love this texture pack! i honestly don't use texture packs but this one is an exception because its style blends very well and doesn't take away from the default minecraft feel.
-oh, i have downloaded and used all your variants, you should make a fallout/wasteland style one plz n__n
OK that seems good. The diamonds from your pack during and before Beta 1.5 (or maybe it was 1.4) were amazing. Sadly, I can't use Gimp or Paint on my computer so I can't really exchange alternate textures. Also, what about armor? They are different because of little patches of color but they still all look like iron armor. I'm kind of a nit-picker when it comes to texture packs so of course I would complain about this. :wink.gif: Everything else in your texture pack is GODLIKE. Keep up the good work!! :biggrin.gif:
I don't think I'll be able to make my own pack with those textures, seeing as they are based off yours! :L But I might start to make one from scratch...
I think you should! The very latest wood you made looks awesome!

Thanks! That's a good suggestion too... *thinks*
I might make one after the ornate one... It would probably be the easiest one to make as well because I could just get normal textures from one of my other variants and make them run down and semi destroyed. :smile.gif:
Epic wood is epic! :biggrin.gif:
It reminds me of the first style of wood I had for the fantasy pack, that sort of small log type.... Works really well on cabins in the forest!

Yea, I fixed up the diamonds and they'll be in the quick update today with the cow and matching water flow colours :tongue.gif:
Thanks for picking that up!
As for the armours, they are actually from the eld pack at the moment because I really couldn't stand the default ones. I plan to do armours soon, but not until I finish the mobs. If you want me to do the armour first then vote for it in the poll! I'll do whatever gets most votes for the next major update!
I know this'll sound lazy as hell (but this is due to problems with paint.
Can you add the katana swords from your Nagareu pack to the Fantasy pack? I loved the look of them x]
But do continue! I'm using the packs for my videos when I get to recording my screen!
Well when I get the customizer up then I'll throw them in there as a choice because.... why the hell not!??
Everybody loves katanas, right????...... Right??? :biggrin.gif:
Sheep, I REALLY love your texture pack, mostly because the artwork is brilliant!
I was wondering though, any words of wisdom for a novice trying to make a texture pack with Paint.net? I've tried a couple times to make a stone texture, but that just winds up looking a bit... off.
lol, Pig and Cow dance party!
A bit too artificial, or bi chromatic, if you know what I mean. :sad.gif:
Please. Help. Me.
Just checkin in. Don't get much time to browse a ton these days. I got the latest version of this pack to run around with tonight. Maybe even....PLAY!
:biggrin.gif:
Hiya Gestank! :biggrin.gif:
It's ok, you still pop in now and again which is more than most anyway! God forbid you're actually going to play minecraft as well!

But To you for such a great pack!
I'm glad you like the pack!
Well my first bit of advice would be too get rid of those faint lines you can see on the border of each of the blocks, it makes it really easy to tell where each block starts and ends. (which we don't want :tongue.gif:)
Next you might want to make the cracks in the rock a little less jarring, maybe try adding a shade of grey that's brighter than the cracks but darker than the rest of the stone next to the cracks. That should help make them a little less jarring. Either that or you could make the cracks themselves a little lighter!
It's not really good advice but it is actually pretty hard to give advice to someone making a pack... I usually take a look at how other people make their textures and what techniques they used when making them. Other than that it's just practice and time! :smile.gif:
EDIT: Just looked again and your cracks are white instead of black, my mistake! Try making them darker than the surrounding stone, might look a bit better!
Just coming along because I haven't posted in a While.
Got minecraft to work with my Xbox Controller. ;D
Hai Nightmare! :smile.gif:
I got my xbox controller working with minecraft as well but it wasn't as good as I'd hoped... Still fun though! Just not as precise as I would like.
School goes back for me tomorrow as well... Sucks...
Sheep, you advice really helped, and my stone looks a lot better (just too earthy) But where would be the best place to ask for help on a texture pack? I don't want to keep bothering you with silly questions.

Urmmmm, If you have an RPG themed pack in mind then you could ask the guys here: I'm a link!
But I have a few other sources that might help like this thread: Here.
I don't have a certain theme yet, have you got one? :L Also, school for me tomorrow aswell...but it's just a load of trips!
My packs have themes (sort of) :tongue.gif:
I think (if you're up for it) you should go for a pirate theme. That would be amazing!
And again, YAYYYY SCHOOL!!!
It is 3:40pm where he lives, he still has 9 hours.
Timezone <3
Hehehehe :biggrin.gif:
Ok, just to let you guys know, I'm just working on a new cobble now because I found a new way of making textures (well, a new way of making them look good) and I really want to try it out. It's going really well too! :biggrin.gif:
Here's the new cobble style minus a bit of detail.
It's blue because it's for the fantasy variant but all other styles would just be a colour change anyway :smile.gif:
This cobble looks a lot better in buildings than the old one and is made 100% by me with no filters or noise or anything like that!
Pretty bad picture but you get the idea. I'm busy exploring this world here. Totally AMAZINGGGGG!!!! :biggrin.gif:
