Hey, now that I've more or less finished all the textures I can, I'm trying to figure out what to do next. Should I work on compatibility with other mods? Are there any textures you'd like to see cleaned up or done differently? Please let me know.
Still have to say this is my favorite texture pack. complete and smooth conversion. offers a unique yet functional alternative to the regular pack. Increases gameplay with new style. I will ask if you will create a char.png alternative in the mob textures folder, looking forward to it,
I may suggest making it some type of sci fi or futuristic astronaut that is lost in this behemoth.
Let me know your thoughts, so far love the armors and everything else.

For the most part, It's been my intent to have the protagonist be a mystery in the Behemoth; someone who the user can project their own story onto. The user crafts whatever identity they want to onto the hide of the beast, living out their own path in leiu of anything I could force onto them.
That being said, I have crafted not one but three alternative base skins, ones I hope will enhance whatever story you visualize for yourself.
1. The Stellar Explorer: For as long as you could remember you longed to reach out into the unknown, to see what lay beyond the stars. Dedicating yourself to years of training, you finally took that first great step into the unknown. Who could have imagined that everything would have gone so wrong. With your ship nowhere to be found and a strange alien world before you, this could either be the biggest regret you ever have or great adventure you've always wanted.
2. The Willful Survivor: A few months ago, you were nothing special. You went to movies, hung out with friends, rocked out at concerts, all without a care in the world or a thought for tomorrow. Funny how things change, huh? Everyone you know, gone forever. The scars on your body tell the tale of each brush with death. God knows how long it took for you to regain your sanity, but now you've found your resolve. Finally, you decide to fight back.
3. The Afflicted: You remember nothing of the past. Has the world always been like this? Yes, yes it must! It must have always been! This blood...the blood of the seas...the blood flowing in the trees...the blood in the bones and worms...Why...why does it smell like yours?
This is but a handful of stories conceivable within the pack. I hope these help you feel more immersed in the world of the Behemoth. In addition, they're all included in the mob folder, now that I've reposted the pack. I fixed that messy business with redstone not looking right. (It still doesn't, due to it being hardwired red >.>)
Lol nice pack but why is everything red?Ill download this anyways. You deserve :Diamond:.But when you had that diamond you died by a charged :SSSS:. :laugh.gif:.

I haven't given any updates so far due to personal reasons, but I figured I should post something anyway.
For those who are still interested, I am working on updating my pack to 1.8, but with the new chest animations, I'm thinking about redoing the 'gut' skin. It would look kind of weird, so how would some sort of skull or bone-flesh box look?
Also, since there may be a limited release soon, I'll wait to update textures after I've incorporated that as well.
In the meantime, I'd like to post an updated 1.8 terrain and enderman retexture that I've been working on, just to show that I'm...well...still doing stuff. (Note: still experimenting with a few concepts so these will be pretty rough and ugly, but I'd love to hear any input to improve them)
The enderman is supposed to be a mutant with stapled-on leather skin and bronze hooks for hands. Doesn't come quite across in 16x, but hopefully it'll give you some idea of what I was shooting for.
I hope you can get a good solid update for this soon. I've been aching to play in that exotic world again, and haven't been able to in a while. I'm hoping you can give us a 64x re-imagining of Behemoth eventually!
Just giving a quick progress update. I have completed the terrain and item png, as well as a flesh-bound floating Necronomicon for your enchanting table. They can all be found below, just update the .zip with these files.
Next up, I need to do is figure out how I want to do The End (behemoth's nightmare/brain?) and redo the mobs.

1.9 Terrain
1.9 Items
Necronomicon Book
Still waiting!
JedystBTW Ifrit7th would you be willing to do a pack for the mod of "Archeology"?
JedystI'll think about it once everything is fully updated.
Hey just following up.
JedystI'm not sure if I've posted here before, but I love this texture pack and probably always will.
All things considered, Blockland is the superior game.
