Thanks for this I was stuck the whole time trying to make a texture pack but now I can! :biggrin.gif:
*EDIT*
Can anyone give me a square pixel brush for CS4 cause I've looked and even tried making my own one but I can't :l So any help would be great! Thanks.
Hey man, I would just like to say thanks for these templates, very useful. I am currently working on a texture pack myself, and have been using these non-stop. I was wondering if a 1.6 update will be released? That would be most useful :smile.gif:
it is a giant table with 1.6 description for every block, clicking on a block allows you to enter an image url. It will resize it into a 128px tile.
When you fill the table enough, click on "Render" and it will assemble a seamless image that you can take a screenshot (with Printscreen or other tools).
For 128px / 2048 sized templates you still have to go Photoshop or Paint.net to assemble the screenshots since it won't all fit. but at least you are only aligning 4 or 5 slices of the template, not the entire 256 of them. For 64px tiles / 1024 template it all fits on a pc widescreen.
Here is a template i made using Torley Free textures, and the corresponding resulting world
Tool now saves tiles to a 256 x 256 and a 2048 x 2048 image.
It also saves all tile image names to a list so you can keep working on your template in different sessions (copy the list to a text file, then paste it later and click on "load")
Okay i can download the template and gimp succesfully but i can not open the template in gimp. it says it is an unknown file type. is there a different way to open the template or just can you tell me how to open the template in gimp
Edit: Is it me or are the words hard to read?
Use the Pencil.

... And now, a bribe:
PLEASE, I BEG OF YOU: 1.5 UPDATE!
Lolz; keep up the good work!
Here but not very good, did it quick with paint.net

I made a tool that allows you to make a customized terrain.png yourself :smile.gif:
