By the nature of it's design it's difficult to get a lot of variation in the flower head, due to the back being an exact flipped mirror of the front. The centre circle and the petal color are the only things that can be randomised about the head. I could do the back too, but at this late stage it's not worth the time and effort.

The bottom and top sections of the stem along with the leaves have also received a good bit of random ctm magic...just enough to stop those unsatisfactory infinite ranks of the same shapes. I heartily agree with those who have said you can never have enough random ctm. However, this is tempered by the fact you can never have enough time either.

There is something kinda 'triffid-like' about sunflowers! Would have been even creepier if Mojang had made them slowly turn towards the player.

I bet you'll have fun with your sunflowers, if you haven't already. I'm not sure I dare come and see, especially if you think mine look terrifying!

Good to see you're still alive and kickin'. Glad you like the new stuff I'm slowly plowing through. When folk see the quantity of ctm I've been working on for the next update they might understand that I've not really been going that slow after all.

Well I hope you do get Mythos up and running again, but there's an awful lot to do if you haven't been following things. MCPatcher CTM is the joy and bane of my life at the mo'. At the rate I'm going, I dare say you'll be up and running before me.

Sorry I can't help you with the task of server hunting though, I'm strictly a one man one world Robinson Crusoe kind of player...multiplayer is just plain scary.

All the best for Mythos, mate and if you do get back into it, I shall be over to check things out like a flash.

Hello folks, remember when i said i would make a steampunk graitygun texture? well... it didnt go that well,but recently i made some stuff that you guys might like!

Here's another plant with quite a bit of random ctm work on it. Spent an age making random one-block paeonia plants, only to discover they don't seem to be in Minecraft anymore...only double plant paeonias...frustrating! So spent another age doing those, which needed doing anyway, and dropped the single plant paeonias in the ctm folder too just in case Mojang decide to put it back in again.

It's in the traditional fine art field by the way...my occupation I mean...both history and practice. Digital art doesn't come naturally, but I'm learning...slowly!
