question... is there a way , like some sort of pack to get all the textures in one single file
so that one can simply, change the textures on there own whit photoshop?
it would be a giant hastle to download a pack over and over
thank you so mutch, also i know this is way too picky but this includes armor and mobs?
because im a freak when it comes to changing the textures constantly for a certian time, y also started practicing whit PS so i want to learn to make my own textures and painterly is what got me started
I used to love this pack, but then I discovered Kas actually stole textures from another texturepack. :sad.gif: But then he edited them so that people wouldn't know.

Are you referring to the numerous options clearly credited to other artists on the create page? If not, then please be specific, or admit you're just a dirty troll. Which graphics, from which packs, and how did you determine they were used without permission?
I can't pick my bread, but I'm sure it'll be fixed soon.
This is the only serious problem I have with the pack at the moment. I want the new windswept barley wheat, it's amazing, but not the grain & bread that comes with it.
Well, they were from Taehl's Texture Pack which had to be closed because so many people stole from it, including Kas.
No, this just isn't true at all. When Kas released the very first pictures (not the actual pack, just pictures on the SA forum to show what he was working on), he hadn't filled in all the different textures yet so he used placeholders; those placeholder texture was from that pack. However, no Painterly Pack released ever featured those textures at all. This was all Taehl throwing a hissy fit because someone apparently stole textures, and because Painterly was by far the most popular pack that supposedly "stole" them, it was targeted and Kas made out to be some sort of good-for-nothing crook.
So you believe it's not relevant because it's pixel art? I'm sure everyone at pixeljoint.com would disagree with you immensely! It's theft, no matter. It's not necessarily illegal, but it's not right, at all. Kas should apologize!
Everything on a computer is a bunch of pixels. A book is a bunch of words. Minecraft is a bunch of lines of code... No one would argue MineCraft's code should be used with out permission, or that you can rip a page from Homer and claim it as yours!
Painterly pack is famous now, and maybe a few texture were taken from Taehl, but at least he can say that he was the basis of the painterly pack, that it was started using HIS textures.

Actually, not stolen, just used. At least taehl can say he was the basis of the now famous painterly pack.
Is there a youtube video showing the different textured options that is available with Painterly's Texture Pack. The graphics are great; however I had some trouble visually recognizing certain mobs. And, I'm not sure of the wheat's appearance. I wouldn't bother, if it werent for the customization feature.
I do have poor vision; hence my need to clearly see what's hat. I'm thinking a video woud help. I'd also love to have a better understanding of what I'm doing. Granted, my focus is on clarity and may be missing something.
