Minecraft is a blatant rip-off of Terraria, clearly. Am I right, guys? No?
If I'm not mistaken, Minecraft was made first and the maker of Terraria was a huge fan of MC and made his own cheesy 2-dimensional excessive-weapon stereotypical knock-off?
Anyways, what's the basement thing about, I'm lost.
no because that just would be unfair.like you just have build a home filled in with diamonds and then there is just that tiny little creeper and then.....
1. It's on hard mode. If you don't want them being smarter then play Normal.
2. It should only explode if either the area where you are is separated by dirt/gravel/sand/soulsand/glass(perhaps not glass, because glass is frustrating to gather) or if it's ai is triggered before you retreated in the house and you are within it's blast range. So as long as you don't go near its blast radius while it was tracking you in your home, you will be fine. Once it stops tracking you it wont explode as long as your defense method isn't a weak material that I suggested.
3. This is the kind of AI that is needed. Hideout buildings need to be fortified, and creepers shouldn't just give up once you get behind a flimsy door. It should know that it can damage you even when you're behind that door/glass. That's what we call intelligence.
im pretty certain they will only bust through doors if they can see you. not for the sake of it.
Is that sort of how Endermen rearrange the landscape because they can see you? AM I RITE!?
Seriously, though, Notch screwed the pooch on the Endermen, breaking with his notion of 'negative effects that affect the world or player should only happen near the player, and be clear to the player'. Hate those guys.

Enderman were pretty well fixed after 1.0. Not only are they uncommon, but they barely do **** to the landscape. I really never see why people ***** about it.
I mainly ***** about the endermen not because they steal blocks, but because they randomly teleport around when you hit them. Why aren't they attacking me when I hit them? It's not scary or intimidating to see them run like a pansy. Endermen really are more annoying than challenging.
I'd rather if they spawned much closer to the player. I want that feeling that they could teleport into existence at any time, and you must always be on your guard just in case one spawns right in front of you.
I would like for all mobs to explode when they detect the player (the radius would be pretty big)
and explode the entire map, thus making it unplayable
and also force you to delete your save (like hardcore)
WHY? its Gross
this isnt terraria
Gaming, history, science and technology enthusiast. Don't mind my cynicism.
Terraria took the idea from Notch. Shhhh now.

****ING BAM
and then zombies and skeletons flood through.
It sounds cool to me at least XD

I guess they take jokes pretty seriously at Mojang.
