I wish the entire Adventure update had come out at once. Small frequent updates don't make me want to play at all -- I know that whatever's coming isn't done yet, so I check what's in the current version and wait for the next one without even bothering to play. I skipped the last two prereleases entirely and will probably do the same for this one.
You realize they are doing weekly pre-releases until November, right?

You can mine it, it's very hard though, stronger than Redstone ore I think. And it drops cobble.
Actually, did they say how things were going to go after they do the code-freeze next week? Would they even bother with releases while just doing bug fixes and polishing?

Oooh...I have a helmet with Respiration I on it. That means my iron helm is now (awesomely) part scuba gear. :biggrin.gif: I can definitely last underwater for longer now.
Cool find! I timed it. Without my Respiration I helmet, I start drowning in about 15 seconds. With the helmet its about 30 seconds.
Jeb just tweeted this: "The exit from the End is the end :wink.gif: And then you respawn..."
Am I to assume this means that once you get to the End, you can't leave without dying? If that's true, then what the hell is the point of ever going there if it means you have to wipe your inventory if you want to get back to the main world?
EDIT: he then tweeted "The End is not completed yet"
If it's incomplete such that you have to die to leave it, it should NOT have been put into the game yet. This is exactly the reason I've been avoiding Minecraft until these incremental updates are done.

It IS called a prerelease for a reason. Also, presumably that's why we were TOLD you couldn't get back out yet without death (so we can avoid this if we aren't cool with that). That said, I wonder if you could use MCedit to get yourself back out?
Is the ground made of a new block? That doesn't look like anything I've seen before. Can you dig/mine it? What's underneath?

They haven't talked about that. So who knows :3.
You can craft gold into nuggets now too (not sure if that's new). Thanks for mentioning it anyway...didn't think to try the nuggets.
I'm at school, with a cross country meet, so I can't play this till tomorrow.
All these updates, I'm gunna explode!
ssssssssSSSSSSSS...

It's pretty awesome...I'll definitely be taking a look underwater with this (well, and some glowstone or jack-o-lanterns).
He already showed that...make an Ender Eye and toss it into the sky.
Hey, that rhymed. O_O

That's a ton of experience points o.O! How!
Edit: Ahhh. If you surround with bookcases, then you can get higher levels. So far I'm seeing levels 1 - 22.

It's not done yet, so I guess we'll see if it drops anything in the next version.
That would be ALL endermen.
