you know those peaple who want it now should get it now but dont go crying to mojang when the game crashs and you lag and your favorite world becomes corrupt. so everyone just shut the F*** up about how it should be released now.

This is all related to Open GL right? If it is disable it for the time being like Notch did in 1.6. Then you can add it back in in a patch. The issues with texture packs though. I think that should be fixed right away.

I can wait until it happens. Although I swear this issue wouldn't have existed if they had released this early. Well for those who didn't use Open GL. Haha

Minecraft uses OpenGL for rendering and nothing else... you kinda can't disable it. I think you're thinking of occlusion queries (Advanced OpenGL)

As long as there aren't any major bugs, delay if fine with me. After all, it is a pretty big update.
