You can take my comment how you will, but there was absolutely no indication of 'Ha I told you so!' Told you what? Not once have I said in this whole dispute any ill will towards the server. Not once. Yes, yes it is an absolute shame for us who started it, need you all forget why we started it? The same exact situation fell on Radda, so to have a near exact mincing fall come to KS, yes that is a -shame-. How seemingly out of the blue a server we grew with shut down without any warming, that's a shame. I see what grudges still hold have not been let go for you to twist my simple statement quickly noted before leaving to work.
This is my last remark on it, as with Radda, what's done is done and people move on to bigger and better things, still a Shame it even had to come to this.

The experience of playing on this server has been great, especially when I find new friendships along the way. If a server comes to an end, it never "ends" immediately. The community will stay, and like Ackbar said, 'It will soon rise from the ashes.'.

Keystone wasn't made by a "few" of us... Keystone is everyone. Every single person who logged in... Every building, every piece of friendship. Keystone wasn't just a server, it was a community, thats why it keeps rising from the ashes. You can't kill a community by just destroying the place where they meet.
Almost every one of us has had at least one or two laughs on this server and some pretty awesome memories. I think my best memories are boxing people in, I don't know why but it always made me laugh; especially when the modmins boxed Ben in and he'd come back a few hours later and lightning strike the whole server. I remember Demon becoming a mod and then an admin and then finally the owner. What I remember most though, is the friendship that I developed with almost each and every one of you over the past few months. There were a lot of times though that our friendships were tested and shaken and even broken. This server's had more ups and downs than any one person could count but none of that matters anymore. To me it doesn't matter if you still want to call me your friend or not, because all I'm going to remember are the good times that I had with each and every one of you; because in the end, that's all that really counts. It was a pleasure and an honor getting to know you all. I wish you all the best in your endeavors and hopefully I'll see you guys again.
It's very sad. I played on this great server every day. I enjoyed the staff. I started off badly but I will never forget this server. After 21 days of playtime. I made Great friends and built great things. It's sad to see a server like this go. No one should be mad at Demonic (just in case someone is) He was a great owner and brought us the best FreeBuild Experiences in the world of course Ben did too. I can't believe the server is gone. Its been a great time with all and I hope I'll see you guys soon. Bye Guys I hope you guys have a great Christmas and New Years.
I believe someone will start the server on again. Since it happened already through Radda's, the community's power is so great that I know someone will contribute to put Keystone back up. I dont know much about Radda's Server because i came like a month before the server shut down, but if i had the requirements I would love to start it back on. There's where i shared awesome times with friends that i knew and other friends that i didn't know in real life. The reason why i kept playing was because the people in Keystone are so lively and fun that anyone can have an awesome time here.
What? We died? Again? No problem, this has happened before, and I expect a new server to surface from the ashes. At this rate, we should be rebooting next year about this same time, just under different management.
Because a community doesn't die. We just continue on in a new direction. I've seen it once before, and I'll see to it again. Skype or Steam, its_ackbar

This is not the end. The community will never die, and indeed is still strong today. Though the likeness of "Keystone" will die with this development, the Keystone community will continue on. It will undoubtedly be reshaped and molded into something completely new, something better than the previous generation. I fully expect that this community will continue to play together in the future, and as some have already said, plans are in motion to make that happen. Both me and Demon agree that aiding in the continuance of the Keystone community is far more important to continuing the "Keystone" name.
I am disappointed that you would bring up quarrels that we may have had in the past at a time like this. Keystone may have been started by a few people, but would have been nothing without the community. A community, I must add,which continued to stay strong after your departure. I should make it clear that the only reason the servers are going down is because me and Demon lack the personal time to run them effectively. There has been no degradation in community spirit nor a staff uprising of any kind. Therefore I wouldn't say it is a "shame" how Keystone is ending at this time. I would say it's a bright new beginning and a time to reshape those preconceptions you may have had about this community and their ability to continue on even when times change. Obviously I don't want to argue with anyone, however I would appreciate it if we could leave these passive-aggressive "I told you so" comments out.

Hey, I am sad to hear that this server has been closed. I have spent many countless hours playing and sharing laughs with the community.
I will surely miss both servers, and will always admire all the work put into it! Before i continue though, I am wondering since the servers are no longer running if i could get my donation money back? (I donated a day or two before it was shut down). I don't mean to sound greedy, but I didn't expect the server to shut down at all! Anyways I thank everyone, not just the mods, the community to for making this server an exciting, safe, and memorable environment. Thanks again!
Deleting those 2 servers from my multiplayer page was almost heart breaking. This was my first minecraft server and i spent so many hours on here. I am willing to help in ANY way to get another keystone server up and running.

This was my 4th server. I could of joined Radda if I known about Minecraft Forums then back in June 2011. I had so much fun here. Joined in the beginning of this server November 2011, I<3 you guize.

Come to think of it, even if what I did was wrong, shouldn't a moderator with a perfectly clean record at least get a warning before being banned.
False, the issues concerning your ban on Radda was due to an old issue with you harassing the player Ferret to tears. Many do remember this incident and the few alts (such as sox700) you used to evade the ban.

First, I'm getting sick of this argument and this is the last time I'm trying to put my real intentions out there. Second, Just browsed through the whole incident on the forums, no specifying what I actually did, it is just referred to as "Giving mods a bad image" and "Harassing Ferret to tears". Once again, I only posted a screenshot of ferret accidently telling me what Kaval did, No intentions to "Harass ferret to tears". Also, I don't care as much about possibly not being a good mod, but all I was doing was not playing much as I was playing other games, and occasionally not paying attention to chat, and the item requests in the chat.
Third: I've pulled up an old post from ferret.
KAVAL IS NOT SELFISH! She helped me when YOU were bullying me! She stood up to you! If you ask me, and basically everyone else, they will say that Kaval is one of the nicest, funniest admin! While people call YOU a selfless jerk. A real mod would accept a citizens apology. So I apologize, and call myself an idiot....a couple seconds later "Expert" says "Im posting on the forums". You actually made me cry! That was basically cyber-bullying. You can't humiliate someone on a server and expect to be able to get back on.
Now, I admit it may not have been the best idea to post the screenshots (Sorry to any ferret lovers out here if this gets offensive) but, that shouldn't have been enough to make ANYONE cry.
Fourth, The screenshots I got from ferret proved what Kaval was doing, and throughout that whole incident, she always managed to avoid talking about what was actually in the screenshots, giving no information, only stating how horrible a mod I was and how I harassed ferret to tears. My Hypothesis: You knew there was no way to disprove the information, so you just used the offenses I had committed while proving those facts to ban me.
Fifth, I only just realized that the reason everyone hated me when I came back from not playing was Kaval, after all, I don't mean to brag, but I was one of the more active and loved mods. Oh well, that's all in the past.
Just so you all know, work on the new server is coming along nicely! You'll all be able to pick up where you left off on survival, and you'll all get to properly say goodbye to the creative map, before creative resets and starts anew.
