Thats the testing server. Keep in mind IT IS NOT FOR RECREATION IT IS FOR TESTING. So expect resets, loss of all your work, and glitches. Mobs have a detections radius of 100 blocks as opposed to 15 (99% sure), mobs will be a pain. Zombies can also break all blocks (with the exception of obsidian). The harder the block the longer it takes though. Don't expect that too many people to be online, this isn't widely advertise and usually tested by admins. Your never truly safe . Have fun!
Sorry y'all just got back from my convention. Stuff went down pretty hard the last few days. I dont know if i WILL be able to buy that server system. But im going to be going to work on the Oil Rigs up north in alberta. So i will be paying for a host in the time that im gone for you guys.

Throwing together test zombie server for my chumbs. Here is the IP. 184.64.81.203:25565
Just played on the test server and there are some problems that need to be adressed.
1.Tracking-with zombies able to find you from as far away as they can, I had 15+ zombies after me DURING THE DAY in a matter of minutes of starting. This is far to many to handle without proper armor or weapons.
2.Skellys-Twice I attempted to kill a skelly. The first time I constantly hit it with a stone sword until it killed me. The second time a bunch of zombies showed up and I fled. Both of these were during the day. Either the amount of damage they do needs decreased, or their health need decreased.
3.Daytime-Even day isnt safe with nothing catching on fire and nothing despawning. This is a big problem escpecially with players starting out like I did. There was nowhere to go without zombies breaking in. Instead of making them despawn completely though, if it would be possible to lower their ability to find you as day comes and goes, then this would not be a problem.
4.Amount of mobs-As I started out I was underattack instantly from zombies. As I fled more and more came and several skellys shot at me. It took me 3 tries to get to a safe point to begin getting tools and coal. After no more than a minute though, I was under attack again. When the actual server starts, perhaps you need to make a 48 hour period or so for players to get a fortrification ready for the "apocolypse"
If you figured out a way to fix these then this is deffinately a server worth playing on.

I appreciate a challenge too but my point is its to hard to even get started. Even spawning with a stone sword and a pick of any sort would make it possible to get settled in and THEN have fun with a challenge. It would also help if more players were on to help

and we have a test server setup for any one helping atm
For now, we have a private server for testing so I doubt that it's for public use currently.
If they cant then you can make an 100% zombie proof underground house.
Can they pathfind you through walls? like how spiders can see you through walls and follow you (but they dont pathfind).
