For those who don't know, I am the owner of FPSBox.com. Our goal here is to provide affordable Minecraft servers with great support.
Unfortunately our support responses lately has let a few of you down and for that I sincerely apologize. Long story short is that we are a victim of our own success. FPSBox has grown exponentially in the past few months thanks to our wonderful customers and we appreciate the fact that you trust us with your business.
Going forward we are hiring a bunch more staff members to monitor our support tickets and staff our online chat system. We will also be making some further upgrades to our systems to ensure that everyone's server is running at peak performance.
I'd like to welcome OSTKCabal as our newest staff member. He will now be working on our behalf in an official support role on these forums and our live chat system. He has been helping us out on these forums for some time now and is a great addition to our team. If you need support from us he will now be able to fully help you out since he now has access to our support and ticket system.

Can upload my own configured mod-pack, that will not say Tekkit or FTB? If I cant use my own mod-pack, then I must find a other host for my custom server. That would have been sad because you guys are very cheep

Ok, once you've ordered the server just open a ticket with us so that we can verify that you have the proper access to run custom JAR files. All of our new accounts that are setup have these permissions but it's good for us to verify the settings.

Cancelled my service weeks ago after using for only a week or 2, moved back to my previous host which resolved issues I was having on FPSBox with high RAM usage...
Just got charged AGAIN by FPSbox today. As of now would not recommend to anyone. I am sorry but if you take WEEKS to process a cancel request in your client area and still charge the clients, then something is horribly wrong! Opened a ticket requesting a refund, and now disputing with Paypal.....Absolutely unacceptable. My client area has showed "Terminated" for quite awhile now, so why am I being charged??? Will edit this post when this has been made right.

Interestingly this is really not a very accurate response, having both worked with and dealt with Paypal for more than 10 years, that is not exactly how a 2-party subscription works.
Thanks anyway though, and I did get in touch with paypal and opened a support ticket!
Hi, I was reading all the reviews, and realized that this host is awesome. I just need to find out a few things before I buy,
- Payment is recurring, I just want it to send me a request every year telling me that I have to pay for the next year.
- Is 25575 the only port? I need a 25565 since it's the default.

- Yes, just select 'Annually' on your order form!
- We offer dedicated IPs (Port 25565) for only $2.50 per month.
I dont want to use tekkit, I want to use my own mod pack becuse it is legal and updated to 1.4.6 or 1.45, 1.4.2
Tekkit is legal. You could also try Feed The Beast.
But yes, edit the JARfile using the instructions found on the mod's respective pages.
