I have had a MCProHosting server before and was very impressed by the staff and the help and No-Lag, but i am not the most technically talented guy, i can do almost everything except for the permissions. I am looking to start a new server with MCProHosting since it is my all-time favorite host but im wondering if you guys would be able to help me configure my permissions? If i need to pay extra for it what add-on do i need to purchase?
Also, for anybody looking at this post, I very highly suggest MCProHosting for people who not only want a great server, with amazing staff and uptime, but also for people who arent 100% sure with anything about comfiguring, since there are so many amazing add-ons you can get. I recommend the server for everybody. Whether you are great with technology or not so great with it. I think MCProHosting would be the best choice out there.
Talk to you guys with my new server!

P.S. Please PM me if you have a solution to the permissions talk to you guys soon
Your services look really good, especially the unlimited storage space. I was wondering if you guys provided mySQL databases and FTP access to the server files for adding/removing files.

Hello Kotpx3,
Yes, we offer free MySQL databeses and FTB access. You actually just made us realize we don't say that on our site. Getting that resolved now! Thanks! Let us know if you have any other questions or concerns and we would be happy to help!

That is even better! I am considering using your services once I have the files setup.
There seems to be a problem with purchasing servers from you guys. Could you check that your paypal is working correctly? I am trying to purchase the grass plan via paypal with a vanilla visa gift card. Do you guys not accept that as a payment?
My experience has nothing but positive. I am thrilled with the service this company has provided!!! This my third attempt at buying Minecraft server hosting for my 11 year old grandson and his friends to play on. The other 2 were disasters - Eraton and MCLayer.
They have been very quick to respond and very kind and helpful. When i mentioned that I was a 65 year old Grandmother that will try to get answers on my own before I bug them, they said I should not hesitate to ask them any questions. (I still plan on doing my own research, because that is how I'm learning - and sharing with my grandson, who is also learning alot.)
I could go on and on, but I basically I was so glad to find a reliable hosting company with people of integrity.
So far I have been quite happy with them. I bought an Air server then upgraded to Dirt. I had to go through the "ticket" process to do so and it was done quickly and efficiently. Full marks!
Im running bukkit rb with uskyblock(+ a ton of dependencies), worldedit/guard, pex and essentials, yet tested with 5 players online and tps dont seem to drop. From this point of view, i can recommend this hoster.
However,
I absolutely CANNOT recommend mcpro for eu-citiciens. None of us ever had below than 200ms latency measuring the connection to the server. This cause and will always cause blocklags(blocks respawn and then vanish when you mine them). Too bad that there is no refund. While mcpro seems to be a pretty good choice for us-citiciens(servers are located in arizona), it was a waste of money for me.
I Live i nNorway (skandinavia) and it actully lagging on the test sefver IP:Test.MCProHosting.com but anyway ther service is really good
Ok I just have a couple questions before buying.
1. Can I still use my domain name? Its asked what I want the server to be called well it has a name and domain Im just looking for a place to keep it till I can afford to just buy a server.
2. I understand I can just move my server here? Im guessing by file trans or just drag it in.
This is my first time trying a host sry for noob questions.
really reccomend this company, great 24/7 support, easy to use multicraft and great panel, one thing is that we should be able to upload custom server jars(ftb/tekkit) with out having to pay 10 dollars, thats the only downside but otherwise great!

Hello Nightfire187,
1.)If you currently have a domain name then yes you can use this to connect to your server.
2.) Yes, we provide free FTP access and you can easily drag and drop your files into your server with us to use.
Let us know if you have any other questions and we would be happy to help you.

Hello Eyalabadi98,
Glad to hear you enjoy our service. I do want to point out that you don't need to buy the Tekkit Addon to use Tekkit/FTB. Just create a ticket on our site and our team would be happy to assist you.
I purchased their services earlier this week. According to my invoice, I purchased the following:
Product/Service: Minecraft Hosting - Grass
Server Name: -------
Minecraft Username: --------
Panel Password: --------
How did you find us?: minecraftforum.net
First Payment Amount: $29.97 USD
Recurring Amount: $29.97 USD
Billing Cycle: Quarterly
Addon: Plugin Setup
Setup Fee: $0.00 USD
Recurring Amount: $20.00 USD
Billing Cycle: One Time
Addon: Sub-domain
Setup Fee: $0.00 USD
Recurring Amount: $0.20 USD
Billing Cycle: One Time
Total Due Today: $50.17 USD
Initially, everything seemed to work. The server was great, good ping, no issues besides one. The plug-ins I had paid to be set up were not set up. The server showed 6 plug-ins as loaded, but it was clear the Mo'Creatures addon was not working. I submitted a ticket because I'm a little computer dumb and asked for help since I thought that should be included in the $20 setup fee that I paid for. One would assume that actually getting the addons working would be included in that fee.
The tickets in order:

Hi. I want to get a server set up with the following (this is what we were running on a friend's server):
Hope I'm clear enough, I'm very new at this which is why I went with your service.

Hello -----
In order for us to install a Modpack, you must first purchase our Modpack installation service. The cost of this service is $10 and this is a one time fee. Would you like for me to create the invoice for this service?
Uh, ok. I really thought the $20 I paid covered this, but I'm computer dumb and who knows. What's $10.

Go for it. I thought I had done that already when I signed up, so please go right ahead. Much appreciated!
No invoice ever appears, radio silence.

It seems that the Mo'Creatures pack is not working. I get the options menu for it in game, but no creatures! Am I doing something wrong or have I missed something?
This is the last I've heard on this particular ticket. Still no invoice. As of last night, Mo'Creatures was still not working. I'd check today, but...
Server down. Refused connection. In fact, it doesn't even show up in my control panel any more.
So rewind to yesterday evening, I notice it gone in my control panel so I submit a ticket for that too.

When I log into my control panel for some reason my server list shows as empty. My server is up and running as I'm currently logged into it, but I have no more access to find it in the admin panel of the website! I have no idea how I made it disappear, but getting it back would be much appreciated!
Thanks

Can you please verify what username you are using to login. I show your username is currently ----. I also show your server is definitely linked. Let us know!
Between that response and now, the server disappeared entirely--neither I nor my friends can log into it.

------ is the name I'm using to log onto the server itself, but on this website I no longer show any servers under the control panel. When I click on the "servers" tab, nothing shows up. Image attached. That page used to list my server and allow me to see things like who was on, a command console, etc.
That all said, I now show the server as down entirely. I get a "can't reach server" message on my multiplayer screen both for the direct IP and the subdomain, and it's not just me--a friend has told me they're having the same issue connecting.
Needless to say, I'm not thrilled so far. The server has existed for 2 days and has now been down for at least half a day out of that 2. So far that's 75% uptime, a long way from the 99.98% or whatever it is they claim.
I get that tickets aren't going to be responded to instantly, but 36+ hours during the business week seems extreme. And when it comes to the server being straight up GONE, I'd hope for something faster than 4 hours, especially on a Friday evening as I imagine that after CoB today I won't hear anything until Monday, leaving myself and my friends without a server over the weekend.
I paid for a professionally hosted server exactly so I could avoid this sort of nonsense. The server we used to play on was on a friend's computer and subject to crashing with his PC or Windows Update randomly restarting his PC while he was at work. I decided to bite the bullet and drop $50 for myself and my friends so we no longer had this issue. So far it hasn't worked as intended.
Ironic part? My friend's server hasn't gone down during the day today for the first time in two weeks.
Initially, everything seemed to work. The server was great, good ping, no issues besides one. The plug-ins I had paid to be set up were not set up. Not sure who you have spoken to with our company. However all tickets are answered with-in at a day or less. However things do happen. Please sent an email to [email protected] and we would be happy to resolve any issues and compensate you for any inconvenience we have caused you.
Had a miserable experience with this company. The server was stable, with great ping, no connection issues. However when I created it Multicraft did not recognize me as the admin.
Ok, well no big deal right? Open a ticket and they'll get that patched up right quick.
So I open a ticket. Status gets updated to Answered immediately with no response. Strange? Ok open another ticket.
No response. Ok, let me try them on Facebook. No response. Ok, let me try to contact the CEO of the company. Immediate response! He asked me what my ticket # was! I responded right back! No response after that.
Ok, let me follow up asking if the team had a chance to review my ticket. Get another quick response! They tell me they are currently very busy! I tell them I understand.
2 hours later I get an email saying they are cancelling all active tickets due to tremendous workloads.
Ok, email says to reopen the ticket if it has not been addressed. So, I do. It's immediately cancelled.
Anything they respond with to the contrary would be 100% dishonest. I needed a quick and easy fix and they could not accommodate.

Hello WorldRecord, if you can please email us your client details we would be happy to assist you. We have served over 5,000+ happy clients.
As for your tickets, all tickets are answered and responded to. We did have to close all tickets the other day as people were submitting useless requests that were overloading our work flow. Thus causing a major back up in our support department. We only have our clients best interest in mind.
If you can please let us know your client details we would be happy to help you. Thank you for your understanding and have a nice day.
I too had a horrible experience with this company.
First became aware of them after watching a Paul Soares Jr video. His server is hosted by them. Went to their website, prices appeared to be reasonable, and they have a big 99.99% uptime plastered all over their website.
Bought my server on the 23rd, for me and a few online friends. $10 for the server per month, $10 to have FTB installed. Trouble started almost immediately.
I was supposed to get an e-mail containing my multicraft login info, which I needed to have FTB installed on my server. I didn't get it, so I submitted a ticket. They apologized, and I submitted the info they needed to put the Direwolf20 pack on my server. Except I get an e-mail asking me to confirm that I wanted the betapack. I had to submit another ticket to get the right pack on my server. All in all, from initial e-mail snafu to pack installed ready to play, it took about three days.
This should have been a red flag, but hiccups can happen, so I decide to give it a shot. Server plays great for about a week. My players love it. Things ran smooth, then, the node I am on crashes, and is down for another two days. So right now the score stands at 7 days up, 5 days down. Server is up for about a day, crashes again, this time with complete and total data loss. Oh, and at this time they choose to remind their paying customers that they DO NOT BACK UP.
So now my server is completely gone. I need to resubmit a ticket to get my FTB back on my server, and even then we would have to start over completely from scratch.
Ok, no problem, these things happen. So, I say just give me my money back, because at this point my server has been down for as long as it's been up, and I am told I would not be getting a refund. Though, for a bit of hilarity, when I complained to them about their service, they told me they had 10,000 satisfied customers. So, either they are making up numbers that sound good, or their customer base doubled over night.
I would stay as far away from them as you possibly can.
