If this is the client we think it is then we shut it down because they asked for a refund. After we provided one they complained the server was gone and resulted in foul language/name calling against our staff.

I appreciate you coming in to defend us however there is no reason for you to waste your time with it, you need all the time you can get with all these Minecraft updates anyway!

We charge £2 for dedicated IPs due to the depletion of IPs in the EU. It is extremely hard to get big IP spaces nowadays. We charge them fairly because of this, if I could I would put them up at £10 each and have hardly anyone get them. It would save us a lot of money this way due to them being a pain to obtain. That being said you can still setup your own subdomain such as mc.mydomain.com without the need of a dedicated IP.


CPU ranges per system so you'll need to contact support for your answer.

Disk space is checked by our system administrator and if a server is over their limit then they're contacted. There is no auto quota stopping you from using over your disk space on the package.

I have a couple of questions whilst i'm here (wanted to upgrade, just checking if there were any cheeky discount codes going),
What processing power do we get? Ram is advertised but the cpu isn't mentioned (or at least somewhere where it's easy to see).

How does the hard drive memory limit work? My world is about 6gb now but the backups put it over the 10gb for my package yet it doesn't seem to be an issue. I have contacted support about how the system creates three backups - it really does my head in as I only need one. Apparently that cant be changed. Will it be changed in the future?

Anyway some definitions on the hard drive space would be greatly appreciated as I don't want to get things deleted by accident.

We don't touch domains, you can edit your own domain on your domain provider. You need to look up SRV records to set it up without a dedicated IP.

IPv6 should solve the EU depletion issue.

The mcdl.eu subdomain uses the SRV record to remove the port, that is what you have to setup.

You will have to pay for 25565, no way around it unless you're on the highest plan. (Obsidian or Diamond SSD)

I'm sorry to hear all of this and I'll reply to each point you have.

We never state that it is just instantly setup, each package that isn't always instant setup states "up to 24 hours, usually instant". This doesn't mean always instant.

If your server crashed then you should contact our support and we will provide you a reply which weeds out anyone having issues with their world/plugins (which we don't provide support for). This reply makes sure the issues you're facing is on our hardware therefore our responsibility.

See this point makes me believe you've got the wrong company because we never put limits on our databases, you'll need to explain further about that.

We have been short staffed and we have things in place to overcome that issue now but if we are the worst you've met in this business then you've not met many I can assure you of that. Our usual reply times are under an hour for severe issues.

Please provide the staff member you spoke to, if you provide the name then we can look up your tickets.

Please also note that our support doesn't cover your software issues, if we believed that the issues you faced are because of something on your server then we wouldn't provide support for that.

We answer all tickets, in fact I myself go though 90% of tickets and I've never come across a situation as what you're describing. Nevertheless as of right now there are no tickets in the queue and that is not new news. Tickets are answered all day and none are left ignored.

Saying we have fake reviews is your opinion, it is wrong, but your opinion. You have no proof the reviews are fake therefore you cannot make accusations like that without any back up.


I am to believe this person has never had a service with us and until they provide solid proof of our support ignoring them + the other points they make about our services we will stick by this belief.

I am leaving your company as a client even if my server is not expired for the following reasons:
- The server was not instant set up
- The server you gave me is full of issues (restarting randomly, cannot open, closing randomly, crushing all the time and ruining my plugins)
- You provide very small amount of Database space (only 5GB) That is not covering my needs, and you did not upgrade it when i opened a ticket for it.

- Your staff didn't solve any of my priority issues.

- I find disturbing all these fake brag quotes you use for advertising to attract people, as many of these were proved wrong. (Experience staff, You reply within minutes)
- Your company doen't even cover my basic needs. A functional server.
I regret purchasing from you. I feel sorry for my money.
You can suspend my server, i wont need it more. Its trash anyway.

Mostly true, but you do lack staff, or it would appear that ways, your staff relies extremely slowly, and by DDoS protection, you mean closing of your server IP and waiting 48 hours before doing anything about it. Its pretty frustrating. A DDoS on the server that you are hosting should be dealt by you, not by one of your staff telling me to look for DDoS protection. Hope this will give a wake up call.

We never state we offer DDoS protection, it is a costly feature, so you should not be expecting us to offer a service we don't advertise that we actually provide.

If someone attacks your server then we stop that by blocking your servers IP. If you were another client with a server down because another clients' server was attacked then you'd want us to take care of the situation. We do exactly that, take care of the situation by blocking the attacked IP so it doesn't cause issues for other clients. Then rather than simply telling the client to leave our hosting we provide alternatives. If we advertise that we provide protection for these things then blame our actions all you want, when we don't advertise it then you cannot complain. We even have a statement in our TOS.

"If your server receives a DDoS attack, your server may be blocked for 24 hours or till the attack stops. If multiple attacks occur then you will be required to purchase DDoS protection if you wish to stay using our services."




The staff issue has been resolved, we've got 2 new guys taking care of the load. Our reputation for support is strong, our statistics show that we had support replies lower than 1 hour for years.
