I don't know if this is allowed here or not so sorry if it isn't.
I know I have no right to speak about rules or anything but I'm sick tired of going onto the hosting requests page and requesting something specific, then getting spammed by deals that have nothing to do with my topic. For example,
I asked about a dedicated server with 16GB of RAM for around $50-75 and I got a few on topic deals, then I got spammed with offers well over half my budget, as well as ones with 8GB and 6GB of RAM.
I think a rule should be put in place that the deal has to be relevant to what the person has requested and if caught spamming with the same "deal" the post should be removed or even further action taken. I'm doing this for two reasons:
To make it easier for others to find the right deal for them
To protect users from shoddy deals from hosts that just spam the same deal in the bid to reel someone in.
Again sorry if this goes the wrong way but I really am sick of seeing this. And sorry if this isn't in the correct section.
Thanks for reading

It's your lucky day, everything you bought up in your post is already in the rules, not once, but twice.
Since there are so many posts and not that many moderators, we can't keep an eye on everything that goes on in the Forums. If you see any of these sort of copy-paste posts in the future, use the little "report" button right by the quote and multiquote ones, and bring it to our attention. We would very much appreciate it ^__^
Replies must meet all needs outlined in the original post along with any other relevant information based on what the topic starter posted (memory, price, slots, country, etc.), posting only server rates is not allowed
I must have missed it, you really should look at some of the people in that section, nearly every single post has one and it's never dealt with. There's even one in one of the stickied threads that I reported a long time ago that was never dealt with. It's kinda strange really.
Anyway thanks for the reply!

Can you provide a few different links to posts you've reported that remain so we can look into it, thx
Yeah Taafe is right I have looked at a few posts on there to, If you like I could help spot them out and report them? Or is the section being looked at.
Go ahead and report such posts if you see them, even if we give extra attention to a specific section there are bound to be posts or topics that we will miss, we're still human
I've seen a large reduce in this in the past few days, looks like reporting them did the trick!
It usually does, there are a ton of topics in that section, and it can be hard for such a small team of moderators to keep track of it. I try my best to run through there at least once a day, and I did take a peek in your topic.
If you do see hosts breaking the rules please do report it.

I'll re-report some of the ones I reported including the stickied post I was talking about.
Thanks, I'll keep an eye out.
I've done a couple but I've got a few requests I need to do on my shop. I'll keep an eye out still.
