I very highly disagree. If your idea is good, you use proper grammar, you describe it well, it's more or less not redundant, and it's not vague, people will follow you fine.
Also, if you have say, 5 posts, then maybe you get picked on, but under 500? I'd say over 100 and people begin to more or less respect you.

I'd agree with blue. When I had 60 or so posts, and I made points, they wouldn't be noticed, but after I hit about 200, I kinda more or less was listened to.

Someone with 1000+ posts will make a suggestion, and everyone will blindly follow, and ignore all the flaws.
Someone with under 500 posts will make a suggestion (a good one) and every small little detail will get harshly criticized.
Am I the only one who notices this?P.S: I'm not talking about myself.
Post count does have a bit of influence, unfortunately.. However, most of the suggestions people make have been suggested & rejected before, just aren't good ideas, or weren't presented properly. If a suggestion is good, and is deemed something that could benefit the community, it'll always be considered, regardless of your post count.
I myself don't do this.
The only real difference is that the higher the post count, the more-likely the person should know what is redundant and how to make better posts.
I've seen some pretty stupid ideas from people with over 1,000 posts and some good ones from people with less than 10.
The very first day I joined, my very first post was a suggestion, and it got mainly support. I have also seen people with well over 1000 posts who make suggestions that get entirely bashed. It's not a matter of posts, it's a matter of the structure and validity of the suggestion itself.
I have had many a dislike for my suggestions. I have also got my fair share of supports too. Whilst post count and familiarity may be a small factor in liking a suggestion (Spaceboot suggestions often are disliked even if legitimate), the actual content of a suggestion is what matters.
How it is presented, the concept, the detail, the idea etc. are the major factors in decided whether a suggestion gains a support or a no support.

Critics would equally support/criticise regardless of post count.
It's about what's on the post, not what's on the poster.
