We don't know that it was only a windows virus. Macs are perfectly capable of getting viruses as well, especially now that they're becoming more widely used. The only really safe systems are linux.
I use google Chrome and Internet Explorer... Really, it only happened to me once, and if I see it again, I'll report back here!Now I got it two more times... Just wow... I think I know something! Chrome is not stupid! It only appears on every tab once...

Okay... Only reason minecraft.net went down was their amazon servers crashed.... For this, its just some random ass troll pulling a prank at google or an ad here ing up things. *Thank you, google for making my life better... somehow, after deleting my google+ account this started happening "..." (this doesn't mess you up) I think google hates us. ask.com sucks, and yahoo is too addy, bing HELL no. sorry bing, but your ads just give me too much ... Im unsure at the moment.. (GOOGLE CHROME USER)

Microsoft Security essentials has always been terrible, I would suggest getting AVG free edition, it's one of the best you can get without having to pay.
