Anyway, I recently made a thread asking if the AMD or Nvidia/Intel build I made is better. Well, now a different question. I already decided that I'm going to go with the Intel build, I made a normal version, but I also made a version where you're supposed to overclock. Just...here it is...
They're both overclockable. A K-series processor is unlocked (meaning you can make it faster, ie overclock) and a Z87 or Z77 (depending on the CPU socket) is also overclocking friendly. That's why they're roughly the same price.
Also, that CPU cooler isn't very good. Get a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO if you would be overclocking the system (if you have a low budget). If you have more to spend, get something like a Corsair H60 (closed loop cooler, (watercooler)).
So, if you don't plan on overclocking, don't get a processor with a K in its number (ie 4670K, get something like a 3570) and don't bother with a Z77, Z87, Z75, or Z68 motherboard chipset.

I'll make a part list to show you a build that would not be used for overclocking.
I know that the first one is overclockable and the "k" at the end gives it away, but the second one is MEANT to be overclocked. If I get the first one, I don't plan to overclock it.

Both of it will be crap overclocking. Get a better cooler. Your cpu will just be overheating if u use that piece of crap.
This is just a suggestion, if you're gonna be spending that much money, an SSD would be better. You could even use an SSD and the normal hard drive if you really want that space.

I thought about it, but to be honest, I really don't even want to spend this much money lol, I was planning to only spend about $900. And besides, SSD's are usually like 300 GB, I'm one of those people that need a lot of storage.

Overclock build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/31NAe
Surprisingly, the overclockable build is actually cheaper.
Which one is better?
Only planning to use 1 monitor, and play today's games, Minecraft, Battlefield 4, maybe Crysis, Valve/Source games, etc.
