Hey, here is the pc specs I am getting, How many fps do you think I would get on minecraft and how much do you think I should be paying for it?
Pc Specs:
BLUETOOTH: None
CAS: CFI Boreallight w/ USB 3.0, EZ Swap HDD, 2x 120mm & 1x 140mm fans, Side Panel Window (Black Color)
CASUPGRADE: Flexible LED Interior Light Strip [+19] (Red Color)
That's horrible overkill and not worth it, no matter what games you're playing. How many FPS in what games, exactly? FYI, anything over 60FPS is useless since your monitor won't display any more.
I doubt you'll get more than 25. Plus, you don't have a lot of memory, so MMO games are out of the question. If you are lucky, the computer might manage to peak at 30 a couple of times. My point? DO NOT BUY THAT COMPUTER!

Are you sure you're in the right thread? How can you come up with a number of FPS when he hasn't even stated what game he's playing? And how is 16GB not "enough" memory? On the contrary, it's insanely too much.
Updating and keeping files would easily eat up large amount of memory. Unless you have SkyDrive to back up your files, it wll lag quite a bit. Source: My 5-year old PC that has pretty good amounts of memory that lags quite a bit.
I agree on the i7 and 16GB of RAM part; you really only need that kind of combination if you're going to be doing some intense editing or rendering. At most, an i5 and 8GB should be enough to play most games in good settings.
The GPU is pretty good though, though I hear it either gets pretty hot or loud, or both.

He hasn't listed a game, and besides, while there are several atrocious part choices in that build, it would surely get more than 25 FPS in any modern game, even on Ultra settings, unless cranked up to a ridiculous resolution.

Again, not listing specifics and you're confusing memory with storage.
That's just nonsense. Barely any youtubers have the slightest clue what they are talking about and make dumb assumptions, I don't see why he would be different.
Actually, he might have a point. I am not sure why, but I have noticed it as well. I only experienced it in Minecraft (I keep VSync on for most games) and when I turned VSync on in Minecraft, it did feel laggier. Not sure why, possibly FPS fluctuation.
OP, this is more than capable of running Minecraft, no need to go overboard and waste money on things that won't make a difference.
You don't need specs those high. All you need is 30 FPS at the least since your eye can see around 24-30 FPS. For a better look, the most you'd ever need is 60 FPS since it smoothens it out.

Sire I inquire as I do with most, but do you mean to gloat? For is it truly such a tire to reply to the host with but a simple QUOTE?

Are you confusing the 770 with the reference 7970/290(X)?

The eye can definitely see more than 30 FPS...
It's somewhere around 24-40 FPS.

You realize you can quite easily pick out the difference in two objects moving at different fps even around the 120 range right?
The point is that over 60 FPS the smoothness difference is so minimal that it won't distract you at all.
Also: Stop buying off that website, like really.
Eh. I guess I just believe everything I read on the internet.
