In terms of technology. Here's my list (am definitely getting these):
-Samsung 840 EVO 250GB SSD
-New set of case fans (am going to have 5 in total)
-Google Chromecast
-DisplayPort to VGA converter (for my second monitor)
-2TB USB 3.0 external HDD
For me
-New PC that i am going to finish building
-Blue Yeti Microphone and pop filter (For recording purposes)
-Some Clothes
-Some New Games such a BF4, COD Ghosts, Crysis 3 etc...
and that about sums it up!
Oh yeah, I also forgot that I'm getting a KVM switch with video, audio, and USB connections so I can share all of my hardware with both my desktop and my laptop. I'm going to use an old 250GB external HDD as a shared storage pool between the two PCs.

Swap Yeti for a Audiotechnica ATR2500, far cheaper and better sound quality, and you can make a pop filter out of a 6" embroidery hoop and pantyhose, will be like $20 cheaper and likely perform better

It's probably too late to change at this point. If it's expected for Christmas, it's likely already ordered.

You know, so you can hurt yourself twice as much when you trip and fall onto your desk / windowsill / wherever the cacti are, make food while you have a long gaming session, and have a separate solder re-flow oven to avoid sicknesses such as lead poisoning.
Dang, nice snipe on that 3570k. Did you really get it for only $150?
Yep, but I had to drive 50 miles round-trip to my nearest Microcenter (Saint Davids, Pennsylvania). The savings were also negated by me missing out on Black Friday deals due to no money at the time. The total would be ~$70 less if I only bought on that day.

Being one half a paycheck from being on the streets is always fun.
Oh what, were we supposed to post something materialistic?
That's right, I forgot, you all have nice cozy safety nets.
