HELP!!!! MAC MINI VS ALIENWARE PLEASE HELP! I NEED TO KNOW SOON SO I CAN CHOOSE ONE FOR CHRISTMAS!!!!!! I AM A YOUTUBER WHO USES FRAPS SO PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!
Depends on what OS you want. Mac's are generally better for work/school where as Windows excels in everyday use. Both I believe are equally good at gaming, however you will get more titles on Windows/PC. If you play multiple games on your computer, go with an Alienware. If it's just MC, and you use it for mainly MC/Youtube, go for the cheaper one. Also if you want to use your computer for school/work, I would go with the Mac.
Just some tips for what you should look for in buying a new computer.

Don't get a mac or a an alienware, build your own computer or get it sent to a shop to get it built. Buy the parts and then you can get it built. (not bestbuy) For a computer the same cost as a alienware you could probably run minecraft with shaders with fraps at 45-60 fps.
I can't stress this enough. BUILD YOUR COMPUTER! I fell into the prebuilt trap and im digging my way out by upgrading mine.

As already mentioned, both are junk. The usual of don't know, don't post, applies.
I'm sorry my opinions aren't the same as yours. Also, I do know what I'm doing, so why are you criticizing me for "supposedly" not knowing anything on this topic. I was trying to give him some tips about what computer he wants, and I wasn't specifically saying it had to be a Mac or Alienware. He stated these two brands, so I gave my opinions on both of them.
I also don't want to get into an argument about this.
As for the OP, do what you want. Building a PC is ideal, but it depends if you want to go though with buying the parts and getting it built.

I cant build one because it is to expensive sooo.......
Dells are overpriced and notorious for bad cooling.
Are you able to add a graphics card and replace a power supply? It's a few plugs and screws.
If so, I'd go with this computer, this power supply, and this graphics card.

Mac Mini uses laptop parts. x51 just sucks all around for the price.

It's not about opinions, it's about cold, hard fact. Both suck specswise, especially for the price.
