I know that feel.
My parents hate MBAM too and keep uninstalling it. They say because it's a "free trail and messes up your computer when it's over" or something along those lines.
Nothing messes my computer up more then AVG or Norton.
You don't need to take the free trial you can use the free version.
Well, I'll see what my dad can do. Maybe I can persuade him to get MBAM.
Anyhoo, took a visit to c:/Windows ( I don't mess with anything, but I do like to see and explore) And found some dodgy things:
PCHEALTH
schemas
Sun
SysWOW64
tracing
twain_32
Vss
splwow64
twunk_32.dll
winhlp32
And some XML document Starter

I need FM or BC or somebody to give some wise advice.
Lets just say I got one of these when I hit "End task"
"Windows has stopped a critical task and has become unstable. Please save any data as you will be logged off in one minute"
Somewhere along those lines.
Stop closing svchost,winlogon or csrss.
if one of those are infected, you'd need to do a repair install. At which point they will be re-infected by the buddy process or service making sure people that don't know what they are doing can remove the infection by ham-fisting their way around task manager.

I haven't closed either, but I should of cross-referenced that isass.exe. I hear it's 75% of the time infected/fake, or rarely legitimate from extensive Googling.

Just call a tech support and ask them to check your computer. DON'T go deleting things and ending processes. Clearly you don't have a very good idea of what you are doing so please don't make it any worse for yourself by trying to fix it yourself.

Safe mode sucks. I hope your poor soul NEVER has to use it.
I sure hope that one day you understand what it actually does and how it is useful.
This topic is titled "Common sense alert". Please use your common sense and don't go messing with what you don't actually understand.

For the love of god, stop "hearing" about things and screwing around. This is entirely untrue and makes no damn sense.
Ah, the "Don't repair anything until it's on fire" mentality. Gotta love it.

Hey everyone, I'm back!
Downloads BF4 overnight. Comes back to find it paused and says that this account is already in use.
Can't tell if hacked or NSA.
Still need to ask dad about MBAM.
My old password (I've changed it since): ab12x3aCy2r13.
I doubt brute-force would crack that very easy.
Either Trojan or NSA.

Malware can have the same filename as a legitimate file, don't go around deleting random things.
Rightclick and hit "open file location", where is it located? It's called call a tech and stop ing with things you do not understand.

It's a trap!
Call a tech. You're infected. Any data on the computer can be stolen. Any personal info will be stolen.
"Programmers never repeat themselves. They loop."
Call a goddamn tech.
Stop closing svchost,winlogon or csrss.

Good luck anyway.
Look through your startup entries. If it's nothing in there, further check if it's a certain application, or a browser itself that's infected.
OP should still call a tech rather than mess with things continually.
For the love of god, stop "hearing" about things and screwing around. This is entirely untrue and makes no damn sense.
CALL
A
TECH
Don't worry about it/don't do anything about it: 100% chance.
Call a tech: 0% chance.
Yeah he's like that.
