Hello! My roommate wants to build his own PC. I came on here last year asking for advice on my build and it turned out great and everyone was extremely helpful. So I thought I'd do the samething for him. He put a list together of the parts he was looking at. Can anyone offer advice, suggestions, or better deals? Please and thank you in advance.
theres a lot to be improved there. answer this though:
budget?
currency?
exactly what parts needed?
peripherals?
gaming?
what games?
editing?
what sort of editing?
recording?
I put the budget in the original post. Didn't mean to leave that out. Currency is U.S. Dollar. The parts linked are the parts he needs. I'm asking if those parts are okay or is there better for a similar price? Or even if someone knows of a better deal for that specific part somewhere else. Also, are all the parts compatible and work well together? Things like that.
He wants a PC for gaming. I told him he'd probably want to spend more than $500 for something good, but the budget is his budget.
Here's what he has so far.
Case
Motherboard
Graphics card - *Edit* Swapped this one for slightly cheaper one.
Power supply
CPU
Already good on the ram, hard drive, optical drive, and operating system. What's linked is what he needs.
*Edit*
Forgot to add his budget. $500. He's not looking for high end. Just something that will pass to game with.
Answers to questions.
Hard drive is SATA.
Ram is DDR3.
