My dad says Lenovo is crap. I might check it out though. If they're not on sale, I most likely won't buy them. I'm trying to save as much money as possible.
Okay so which one should I buy? I don't want to wait for too long...

Your dad doesn't know crap. Do not listen to any further advice from him on computers. Especially if he was the one who recommended those horrible laptops in the OP.

Let me guess. He thinks Dell and HP are good?
Lenovo is one of the best brands for laptops.
Strictly between the two laptops listed, the A6 is better. You are paying far too much for it though.

Try not to buy from HP either, they have horrible cooling. Lenovo is pretty good if you have some money for it. They made some laptops that are waterproof! Plus, can take quite some drop damage too. Performance for Lenovo is nice too.

Oh and BTW I meant that one of the laptops I was looking at was a Lenovo, and my dad said it was no good.
You know someone is somewhat of a fanboy when they call another Manufacturer crap. It's good or not.
Go for the One BKRenz posted. Ah forget it. He's probably not even gonna check this much anymore and probably already ordered it.
You asked for advice, and completely ignore it as soon as your dad says "ohh urr dis shucks dun get k???"
No chance in hell, IBM is one of the most imporant if not the most important company related to computing, Lenovo is just a PC manufacturer. They have invented so much stuff that there is no sense even trying to list even a small part of it here but it includes hard drives, floppy disks and DRAM, not that any of those would make a difference.
I knew IBM invented a ton of useful stuff. I thought that they had changed the name on their computers. Guess you learn something every day.

Is Newegg safe to order stuff? I'm not sure if it's a spam website...
It is one of the safest, best, and most reputable sites to purchase from.
