Hey everyone, my question today is if purchasing a EVGA GTX 650 for about $120 is worth it or buying an EVGA GTX 660 Superclocked for like $220 is a better deal. I'm looking at running modern games at 30 fps+.
(I'm just a bit worried that purchasing a 660 will require me to buy a new PSU which will be a pain the ****). But my price range is around $100-300 for a graphics card.

Might we know your original system specs? Could you post a screenshot after downloading and running Speccy?
Wow, thanks for all the support guys, and by the way my PSU is I think 350 watts, so yeah I'm looking to buy a new PSU now. I'm looking at buying a OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W for like $65. I'm willing to purchase an AMD graphics card but I'm also considering a 660 TI as they're both around the same price range.

The 660 Ti and 7870 offer almost identical performance, however the 7870 is $50 USD less expensive. I can't imagine why you would consider the 660 Ti unless you're getting some sort of discount.
Goodness. At that price, you'll want a 7950. This one. Which comes with 3 free games.
I'd love to buy it there but unfortunately I live in Australia and I don't think newegg is available for me. I have another question, are there any decent graphics cards that cost about $100-$210.

If you don't mind going $15 AUD over budget, the 7850 for sure. Very good performance for the price.
If you absolutely cannot go over $210 AUD, your next best option is the 7770. It still offers good performance for the price, but it's significantly less powerful than the 7850 and you will see a difference.

The 7850 is preferred, but you seem to be set on Nvidia.
Unless your current PSU has an output of 400 watts, you'll want to buy a new one for sure, no matter which graphics card you buy.

"Programmers never repeat themselves. They loop."
Yus specs are good. PSU may have some dodgy stuff, if its a bad psu, and GTX 660!
True. Had enough bad experience with AMD drivers going beserk. I'm not too keen on them now either.
He didn't mean it that way.
SO true! xD
