Quote from Marx1984 Would you be up for putting in a GPU?
Quote from CommanderBumi Depends, what difference is no gpu for those games?
Quote from CommanderBumi Hmm, if you can keep it below 500, i could switch to a desktop and get a gpu?
Quote from CommanderBumi Okay, so I've decided on a laptop that's probably AMAZING for the price. http://www.amazon.co...ASIN=B0085H64E6 520$ (over budget but my parents wont mine 20$) Intel core i3 2370M 2.4 GHz (3 MB Cache) 4 GB SDRAM 500 GB 5400 rpm Hard Drive 15.6-Inch Screen, NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit , 4.5hours Battery Life If you didn't know, this is a GREAT video card. It can play bf3 on med specs. Should I get it?
I really would like a laptop, mainly for the ease of taking it places.
What I've seen so far to be 'decent' is on the black friday sales @ bestbuy.
https://blackfriday.bestbuy.com/computers amp tablets/product/6819278/hp envy 156quot laptop 8gb memory 750gb hard drive natural silver
Things to know about that laptop
i5 processor
2.5 ghz (turbo to 3.1)
Intel hd 4000
8gb ram
yes, i know that intel graphics is pretty bad, but its all i can find.
Help me.
HP = NO
Intel graphics = NO
We'll find you a good laptop for 500, the only problem is that your budget is pretty small, but I'll see what I can do. You really should get a desktop, they're much cheaper, and you will have difficulty finding a good laptop at that budget.

A very big difference, and Minecraft isn't even very graphics intensive.
I was thinking buy a pre-built with decent specs and then throw in a mid-range GPU; it will do what you want.
amd a8 (3.2 ghz)
radeon hd 5560D (3gb of video memory)
6gb ram
decent for 490$?

If you need peripherals, that just ensures it would never happen.
That is not amazing at all and the price is meh. But it should fit your needs.
