I have a quick question regarding a monitor I am probably going to buy, and I would really appreciate it if you guys could help me out!
I am thinking about purchasing an AOC I2757FH monitor for my laptop, however, this monitor does not have any USB ports. It has 2 HDMI ports, and I plan on using one for my computer. I was wondering if it would be possible to get a converter for the second, so that I can plug in my USB devices (keyboard, mouse, tablet, etc.) into the monitor instead of my laptop.
You cannot plug your usb devices into your monitor.
I thought he meant to plug the things into his monitor to use it's screen. Yeah there's nothing but there are things that give you extra ports and there are bluetooth type things for it too so ypu can blug in one stick and put a hub somewhere and put your usbs into that. The reason is because all the monitor does is display the data the laptop sends it.
Hmm alright then. What would've been ideal is if I could just plug all my devices into the monitor, and then when I want to use it, all I would have to do is plug a single cable into my computer. For some silly reason AOC didn't add USB ports to this monitor...

Get a usb hub, that way you will only have 2 cables to plug in.

Thanks!
Sorry if I posted this in the wrong section, I wasn't sure where it would be best.
Could you please explain why that is? Can't really find a good solution without a reason

Because HDMI is used for multimedia. I would buy a USB hub and just use that if you need more ports.
That is what I will do. Thanks.
