Altec Lansing makes good, quality ear buds. Nice and bass-y.
I have an old ViewSonic CRT monitor that plowed through seven years of use. (Finally replaced with a Dell LCD monitor a few weeks ago. It shall have a proper burial.) Probably not indicative of the quality of their current products, but at least their CRTs are good.
Edit: The ViewSonic wasn't replaced because it broke, it was replaced because I had an LCD monitor.
there should be a colour between blue and red, which basically means 75% of the products are bad but certain ones are very good. Alienware would fit into that category.
HP seems to do decently well on their printers. All their printers that I use haven't had any major issues that weren't user error, and some have some nice features. My current printer is an HP, and it still prints even though the ink had sat nearly all summer without printing a single page.

HP printers tend to have the most expensive Ink out of the major brands. They have some of the worst drivers in terms of reliability with them.
Ok, for just a single person using this printer with two computers over WiFi it seems to work pretty well. There is some weirdness when installing it where it tries to install a bunch of extra junk, but if you simply tell it not to install the junk it won't.
Really? I had a Dell printer for about a year. Buying ink for that one sucked. I haven't noticed any problems with my printer's drivers (yet).
As with ViewSonic, I can vouch for that. Last Sunday we refilled our Dell ink cartridges at Costco. Even with that, I still got messages that said I needed to order ink from Dell.com. Every. Time. I. Print. I always assumed that the ink cartridges really squeezed out the remaining drops stored in them, but guess what - they were always filled.

Why are you defending Alienware? You're scaring me D:
Also, add any headset with the word gaming in it's name.
Same thing with "gaming mice/keyboards" They tend to be overpriced. If a keyboard is close to $100 it should be mechanical, otherwise it isn't worth the money.
Also Razer has some problems with their products, half the the time they break in a week, half the time they don't...
Since I'm on the topic of keyboards add Filco to the good brand list...

I am speaking mostly with networking. Older HP printers seem to have issues when shared for both xp and 7. Xerox no problem.

it costs too much for what you get

alienwares 3d monitors are good
Oh, I didn't know they made 3d monitors. Nevermind, I can agree with you.
And I think that Apple should be in the red category.
Alienware is owned by Dell, who makes excellent monitors, so it stands to reason that they too have a good monitor brand.
