Yeah, this was four months ago. Still the same, but I can't post a more recent test since I'm out of town.
We pay PHP3999 for it every month, ~80 dollars.
I really wish I could have better, but I live with it. Though Latency is FAR lower then what speedtest always shows, I do not know why. But I get quite good latency around the world by most far, even to new zealand from easy USA, I get less then 350ms, with less then 5ms jitter.
As for my bandwidth. I pay 15 bucks a month for, this. 1.5Mb down, 512Kb up.
Embarq is now Centurylink, formally Embarq and Qwest combined.
To show my ping isnt as much as it says, speedtest is just derping.
That's all we have available out here until August. I plan on getting 90-50 by then.
niiiiice, we get this lol
problem is, we can get 30 up and down for less then what we're paying for this, except it's not near our road, wiht no plans to move it here for like 40 peope
ADSL can only supply up to ~5.30 Mb. I should know, I'm on it.
Actually, ADSL2+ can support cable speeds, but distance is GREATLY limitation. My line can only go 4Mb max, but if i was much closer, i could get 40Mb DSL down, and I don't rem the up speed, for like 30-40 bucks a month without bundle.

Yeah, on my dedi, the server is physically in Toronto though.
I'm actually browsing the forums through said server right now, in exchange for lower res browsing I get instant load times. Heck, even these forums are fast!

Yeah, had so many problems with them, no idea why me parents don't change >.<
What do you mean 'live close'?
Sorry, I don't quite understand what you're saying =/
The computer to which this test was sent to is a server, not a home PC. I believe you can volunteer to host your computer as part of some program they have, though it seems to be just for fun.
Holy cow! Such dl speed is quite useless, as most server/host uploads don't go past 5 Mbps.
The majority of servers support up to 100mbps in my experience. CDNs and torrents can max the line.
It's actually quite fun to browse reddit/mcf on. Everything on the server's side is instant, and in return for reduced viewing quality (compressed vpn) I can browse anything instantly.

Maybe because you boast about it on skype all the time?
Pretty Average for me...
Download is better than average
Upload is extremely ****.
and yet better than 83% of Australia.
Not to mention the amount of times it crashes.

It's like you're directly connected to a backbone.
