Hey guys. First you may not know what the heck I'm saying until you read this http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1927292-surface-rt/. So I think mojang should port minecraft to surface or put it in the windows store. I am not a surface owner but plan to get one so if you agree comment on this. Let's bring minecraft to SURFACE RT!!
No. The Surface RT does not have sufficient specs to run the full game on it. Pocket edition may be possible if they were to port it, but wouldn't be feasible due to the low number of people that own Surface RTs vs. the cost of paying the team or separate devs to port it.

Well yes but I have heard that they have it ready they just did not port it yet

It runs on an ARM processor and it can't run desktop apps so yes true but they could make an arm version for the windows store.
Minecraft will not be ported to the Windows Store. Ever.
It requires, as you've mentioned, ARM compatibility.
WinRT has no Java virtual Machine, and no OpenGL support.
Mojang is not going to spend their time rewriting Minecraft not only in another programming language but against a completely different graphics API to target Windows RT.
It's never going to happen. It would take WAY too much time to redo Minecraft and the Surface RT doesn't have a big enough market for it. Honestly, I'm not sure why people want a surface in the first place. You have to pay an extra $100 just for the keyboard and then you have to get the Pro model if you want to actually use it for anything.

There are actually several theories.
-They got lost in the store and mistook a Surface for a crochet pattern tool.
-By buying a Surface RT they become part of an exclusive club. And by "exclusive" we mean exclusive to those in the club, since they can't run anything particularly useful currently.
-They like colourful things and they've already been kicked out of bed bath and beyond for putting the towels in a pile and then sleeping naked in the middle, and while wandering listlessly through other stores, the Surface caught their eye.
-They like spending money on things that have not proven themselves particularly useful. These people likely also have an Apple Pippin and a Sun Netbox.
-They believe that Surface RTs are like Power Ranger Megazords and by purchasing a number of them in different colours they can create a super fighting robot to conquer the world. They are partly correct. It creates a super speech recognition robot that essentially wanders around misunderstanding people.
-They think the new "Cortana" technology is exactly the same as the character from Halo and is also a hard-light hologram that will do their bidding. I can think of several things I would do if I had a busty woman who's only programmed desire is to please their owner. The most obvious choice, and I know this is what everybody else is thinking too, is finger-painting.

What about raspberry PI. I bet that dident have java, or OpenGL
There is a Java virtual machine for ARM processors and Rasberry Pi can run a full Linux distro that OpenJDK can be installed on it and it supports OpenGL.
Heck if I know I just know there should be no reason a person couldn't get the full desktop version running on it and assumed they were talking about that.
Well now I'm debating if I should get an winRT or a Surface pro.
The choice is clearly obvious.
Surface Pro: Nice, fluid tablet which can run full PC apps as well as apps from the Store, thus it can run Minecraft
Surface RT: Bad, awful craplet which it's only use is finger-painting in Microsoft's heck-awful painting app
Never go with the Surface RT. It's basically as useful as a Chromebook for twice as much. The Surface Pro is still overpriced, but if you really feel you need something that small, it does the job well. Otherwise, just get a 13.3" laptop and it'll still be portable, but cost less than the Surface Pro with the keyboard.

Alright lets make this straight,
The Surface RT was a proof of concept device which I loved, however its soon to be a year old and the Surface 2 has launched which is way better, it got a full HD screen with a Tegra 4 CPU, it comes with 8.1 RT and Office. So in short it beats any Android or Apple tablet.
Now to the Surface 2 VS Surface Pro 3,
The Surface 2 is obviously cheaper and have a ARM CPU so its more meant for people that just care about browsing, reading, and off Watching movies, Playing WinStore games.
Surface Pro 3 on the other hand is a powerhouse, it got a i7 with 8gb of ram, and is as thick as the Surface 2, however this tablet/hybrid is indeed very expensive.
Also, protip ignore all those Windows/Surface haters they are just a hunch of ignorant idiots. Cheers.
