So I got a new computer a few weeks ago for my birthday so I wanted to stream because i couldnt really before. I only used 1 monitor at first and I found it annoying because I had to shrink my game size so I could see chat so then I could barely see the game. I have a TV I could use as a second monitor thats 1280x720 so I connected that by an HDMI cable. When I'm not streaming I get an avg 150 fps in minecraft. As soon as I start my stream I drop down to 30 for a few seconds and then go back. Without the second monitor my frames only drop by about 20
It would always drop to 30 at the same moment and then come back at the same moment.
I was wondering if anyone knew how I could fix this problem or if there's no chance at all.
GPU: Nvidia GTX 670mx
CPU: i7-3630QM 2.40 GHz
Thanks.

It could just be the fact that your graphics card has to now power another monitor at the same time, but I doubt that would make too much of a difference.
I have the GTX480 and I use dual monitors. I don't know what streaming software you use, but I would use Dxtory and XSplit and I still easily got 60+ FPS.
Although, looking at this graph, it seems that the GTX480 that I use is noticeably more powerful than yours.
What software do you use for streaming? And are running the same programs just with two monitors, or are you running more now that you have two?

I use OBS because usually it only drops my frames by a max 20 frames. And I'm running the same programs. Just put my chat/OBS on my other monitor. That's it.
