I love the new installer like Blizzards games you only need to download part of the program to start using it.
Other then that there is some new skydrive features ect.
The UI has also been tweaked to fit windows 8 more.
It crashes when ever I try to do something so I have no been able to test much else.
Nice. May download tonight. Currently running Windows 8 Release Preview, runs like a charm... only a few bugs there and there... but most are very rare. But this matches Windows 8 theme VERY well!
Just wondering, Pro's and Con's vs Windows 7? I've heard bad things.

Well, it's currently in an open beta right now, so any crashing errors should hopefully be fixed by Microsoft before it is released. However, some people complain about the UI, but those who have used it get used to it after a while. I myself will be sticking with Windows 7, but that's because I don't want to buy an OS right after I built a PC with Windows 7.

Windows 8
The new scheduler is faster and it is optimized better for AMDs processors.
Other tweaks that make the thing faster
They rewrote how the system handles USB to improve speeds to get the most out of USB3
More memory efficient UI or at least its supposed to be some people have reported the opposite.
Better integration with Xboxes you can start games ect with your PC it also has a virtual controller but it did not work for me.
Much faster boot up
The ability to boot it from a jump drive like a lot of Linux distros can
The ability to refresh the PC makes fixing a computer quicker so I can just refresh Windows no moving files or reinstall.
Some people dislike the UI but that a personal preference thing.
It costs money but sources say Microsoft is killing retail versions and the OEM version will cost 80$
2007's UI was pretty shmexy. I know some people don't like the Ribbon thing, personally I'm fin with it, but it had some nice eyecandy. 2010 removed a lot of the eyecandy, got a bit less pretty. This? We're going back to single solid colors again. I'm starting to accept Windows 8 as an OS (while I'm still sticking with 7 because of familiarity and usability with mouse/keyboard). I just wish it wasn't so....matte? Needs a bit more shine, if you know what I mean. While Apple devices are next to useless (I'm looking at you, iPhone), they are quite pleasing to the eye. I just don't like the whole "each button is a square or rectangle of one solid color" theme they're going for now.
I really hope that they didn't just change the layout for the sake of changing. It is really annoying always having to relearn office every time a new layout comes out.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
The Commies count their quarters and the ArtSci wish they could, the Engs have the longest pole and slam it home for good, so big, so hard, so tall, it reaches all the way to heaven, so shut your hole, we climbed the pole, we're sci 1 ing 7!!!
You sure? I'm pretty sure it's been changed much for any AMD processors...
However, there is ONE problem with Windows 8. It seems to want to swap to the pagefile every time I open a metro app, it can't be caching for prefetch or something else...
They implemented a new scheduler and it had the fixes so it would send threads in a better fashion to bulldozer.
All processors should see minor improvement but BD should have much greater changes.

So buy sources you mean somebody is most likely just ****ing with us.
Hopefully it won't be bloated for no reason like 2010.
You would be surprised how often leaks from Taiwan end up being true.
It is not like someone randomly emailed them.
I just assume they aren't true so that way i don't get disappointed if they aren't and stand corrected if they are. Win Win
Or the leaked specs for the PSVita (which were 100% correct).
To bad i never bothered to learn them in the first place. the only one I know is ctrl p.
fixed
By AMD systems I meant modern ones that are Bulldozer based not anything older.

They are quite a bit quicker than clicking around with the mouse.

Much more convenient than using that crappy right-click menu.
