Are all laptops crappy for minecraft? I am looking for a new laptop that can play minecraft on high settings, but isn't 1500. -.- What kind of specs would I need to play minecraft on high settings? :/
I own a Samsung. Runs Minecraft on Fancy+Normal with about 40 fps. Gets about 75 with optifine. I bought for only 400$ because it was on a clearance for Father's day.
Look for anything that has a graphics card that isn't Intel HD. I'd recommend Msi, Lenovo, Asus, or Sager (for higher end ones). A good place to get them is from newegg.com.
Stay away from HP, their laptops overheat, Alienware, theirs also overheat and have bad specs for the price, and Apple, their laptops get hot too, and they're very overpriced.
"Running Minecraft on max settings is useless" - I strongly disagree
"Laptops are useless." - I once more strongly disagree
"It looks the same on max as it does on min." - Guess what, I once again strongly disagree.
No offence, but that's all utter ********.
Also, OP, it would be nice if you could give us your budget. "Not 1500 (What currency btw?)" is not really helpful.

If you got the extra budget go for this over wolleys its a new generation of AMD APUs they produce less heat and use less power. http://www.newegg.co...N82E16834214862
Either are plenty for MC.
Would this play minecraft on high settings and record without lag?
Would this play minecraft on high settings and record without lag?
Both should have no issue with recording MC at all.
But if you are recording you might want to do that on a desktop for more harddisk space as recording can eat disk space up.

Alienware makes overpriced garbage that overheats.
Sager is a good brand and same with MSI and Lenovo. A desktop is always better for the price though. What is your budget?
2 or 3 months.A long-ass time.Oh boy, visual basic. I can barely contain my excitement. Not.
