@Flame ATI graphic cards are a piece of crap, they over heat and send most of the stuff that needs to be processed by the gpu to the cpu, causing more lag. nVidia cards do all the work, and do it better.

The 460 is about $130, and is much worse the slightly more expensive 6870.
OP, get the 6870, or, if you can stretch it to ~$220, the 6950, or, at ~$240, the 560ti 448 core.
The 448 core can provide the same performance of the ~$350 6970 and 570. I would strongly recommend it.
I was saying why would you go for the 550 when it has the same performance as the 460 and is more expensive. I highly reccomend saving and getting the 560 448 core because right out of the box it has almost the same performance as the 570 and if you overclock it it can almost have the same performance as the 580.
You have a 6870, that is fine for now. Just wait until the 78xx and 77xx series comes out to see what you can get.
6850, but wasn't for me :tongue.gif: friend of mine asked me to build him a computer with a 448 core in it, was trying to keep the prices down but oh well
I have a 2GB NVIDIA GT 430 and it works fine on fancy graphics and far renderer distance so i suggest getting this video card or a newer one from NVIDIA

Outdated card recommended in outdated thread? Ugh.
Not helpful.
OP, there are no on the spot $200 gpus, but a very good one for about $160 would be the 6870.

Wrong. He haz 6850.
And I think he tried to buy it maybe to resell later at a higher price, or for another build, or just cause it was an awesome price.

So there will only be 2 7xxx series cards for individual purchase?
Makes sense.

Thinking about coming a mod to simply not moderate.
Overpriced and beat by the 6850.
