no **** you mean that, but I was trying to explain to you the reason I didn't download speccy and run it on there is because I never use that computer and am rarely around it to begin with which is why i thought posting the exact brand and model names of the parts would work.
See above.
If you don't even care about fixing the computer, why even bother making a thread?
You come to the car company saying that your Ford is broken. The people working there ask you what type of Ford it is, and/or what the engine is. You repeatedly say "why do I need to tell you what type of engine my Corvette has?" completely not listening to the workers at the car company. Later, you come back and ask what type of car you should get, making the workers facepalm because if you told them what was in your Ford, you would have two cars. Still, you refuse to do so.
no idea what all information is wanted from speccy
so here's
ALL OF IT lol

don't even bother, would cost more to fix then it's worth by the look of it :/
I'm still wondering:
1. Why are you still using Windows XP
2. Why are you still using a computer that dates back about 10 years
3. Why you couldn't simply give us basic specs instead of everything in the world that doesn't help us
=p

You guys are really mean D: I feel bad for Emcitement now because no one except the first few gave nice answers. I don't see why all of you went out on the tangent of fixing his bad PC. It's dead, he wants to leave it like that. It's over. End of discussion. But really, don't make a big deal of out this. Specifically Lieutenant. Report him for what? Trying to fufill your demands? Did you all forget the original request? He wants a computer under $1000 that can do blah blah not scrolling back up. Why don't you just recommend him a computer instead of getting on his case for something you started. You people gave me cancer.

Because if he has a Ferrari in the garage that is broken and just needs a little work, what's the point in buying a new one? Anyway, we can be a bit mean if you are difficult. We take the time and effort to answer these threads and if you are difficult than it just hurts you and pisses us off.
To clarify we didn't know what the specs to it where until now, so that's what I mean by, "a Ferrari in the garage."

It's not your life and not your decision. He said he won't mess with the old one and wants a new one.Respect his decision. No reason to ***** about it or make him change his mind, cause you'll gain nothing from it.
Also nobody is forcing you to answer these threads nor are you getting paid.So if the thread "offends" you in some way just leave it.

So if he didn't want to fix it then why did he make a thread asking how earlier?

You come to the car company saying that your Ford is broken. The people working there ask you what type of Ford it is, and/or what the engine is. You repeatedly say "why do I need to tell you what type of engine my Corvette has?" completely not listening to the workers at the car company. Later, you come back and ask what type of car you should get, making the workers facepalm because if you told them what was in your Ford, you would have two cars. Still, you refuse to do so.
I mean the original/not a tee-shirt for the hanging PEBKAC, thanks though.

I'm still wondering:
1. Why are you still using Windows XP
2. Why are you still using a computer that dates back about 10 years
3. Why you couldn't simply give us basic specs instead of everything in the world that doesn't help us
=p
Because if he has a Ferrari in the garage that is broken and just needs a little work, what's the point in buying a new one? Anyway, we can be a bit mean if you are difficult. We take the time and effort to answer these threads and if you are difficult than it just hurts you and pisses us off.
To clarify we didn't know what the specs to it where until now, so that's what I mean by, "a Ferrari in the garage."
