Ok, so I really want to install 7-zip to download some adventure and puzzle maps to play and also some mods maybe. The thing is that I just have something with downloading stuff. If I ever want to uninstall and delete it how can I? Is it safe? If you guys could help I give my thanks.

Start Menu>Control Panel>Programs and Features>7-Zip>Uninstall
I wouldn't delete it. It's a really handy thing to have. But if you want to, type 7-zip in the search in My Computer. delete all the files: 7-Zip, 7-Zip File Manager, and 7-Zip Help.

Last night I lay in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and I thought to myself, where the heck is the ceiling.

..... Are you elderly or naive?
Yes it's safe. Just uninstall via programs & features in control panel....
You are concerned about downloading 7zip but not concerned about downloading tons of maps?
I can vouch for 7-zip. It is an extremely useful program, and it is open source, so if you are worried about it, you can check the code for yourself. There's a portable version if you don't want to install anything.
Why not get Winrar? You can open .zip files and .rar files, and many other files. ?_?
Winrar is inferior to 7zip. Less formats, heavier, and you need to buy (or keep clicking "cancel" when the trail runs out like everyone else because his antipiracy measures were a joke).

Because 7-zip is free and arguably better.
