I prefer PC because of less disks (nowadays anyways), emulators, not only for games, and there are many good and cheap games compared to crappy $60+ crappy games for console. The cons are if you have crappy hardware, then you can't play much games.
I have a console to and enjoy it. There isn't much a big disadvantage in games when it comes to hardware. The games are really expensive though, and physical CDs are still mostly used. Losing them would suck, but it's not like they're super easy to lose.
A con for both would be for online gaming. If you have a crappy connection, you're sort of screwed.
...
PC = every game *can* be attained "freely".
...
Maybe if you're a pirating asshole... :angry.gif:
I prefer PC, since I can either make mods for most games, or find mods from others. The mouse is always nice for when precision is needed. The developers can make the games much more complex/large scale, since they aren't limited to the hardware of an old xbox, and can have more buttons with the keyboard.
I also don't have to pay to play online(in addition to the regular ISP bill)
And to those who say you have to update hardware every 3 months, turn the stupid graphics settings down! It's not that important
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
My livestream channel, gonna stream some arma (or other games)!
You can build a computer that will be cheaper in the long run compared to consoles.
Emulate games.
Cheaper games.
Mouse, more accurate aiming.
Real 1080p, not upscaled 720p like on a console.
Internet.
Modding.
Image manipulators.
Text document editors.
Messengers.
PCs are more moddable, which is both a good thing and a bad thing.
With consoles, you get the features you pay for and that's it. No more, no less.
With PCs, you *can* upgrade your stuff, but getting a PC on par with a console on certain aspects you have to pump out the cash, like a Blu-Ray drive or bluetooth.
Who uses either? Bluetooth is a gimmick and blu ray isnt that popular.
Also, what are you talking about? Bluetooth is fully supported by the windows operating system.
Once more, I will state that if you are poor, then that is too much for you.
I'm not arguing poor vs rich, I don't know what you are getting at. Mayhaps you believe me to be poor?
I am arguing price. No one said it was too much, I am saying that if you are willing to blow cash on $60 a game, you might as well get a pc, which in the long run is cheaper.

I am rather positive that the only face defining avatar on the minecraft forums is yours.
Sigh.. Games don't decrease in price just because they're on computer, or on xbox or whatever it is.
Prices are set by the company and they want maximum prophet.
Why yes, I do believe you to be poor if you can't afford a measly 300-400$ console.
Some people dislike having oven-like computers in their room, so they get something MUCH cooler such as a console.
And your face is INDEFINITELY defining your face about the price.
How is precision decreased. Precision and accuracy are almost the same.
Actually, no it isn't.
I'm honestly less accurate with my shots, but a lot more precise with a controller, since as long as you don't move your right analog stick, your gun will not have a crazy recoil.
But with a mouse, you can pinpoint your shot down to the pixel, if you wished, but the fact of mouse movement can throw you off with precision.
And as newer games come out for both platforms, only the PC will be advancing graphic wise, consoles can only update change with a whole new console.

I disagree ive seen many consoles fps very very very low amd not smooth, ps3 and xbox both.
Not really though, most big-budget games are for consoles now :sad.gif:
They might get ported to the pc, but then they have console graphics...

My Fallout New Vegas begs to differ. Crash, after, crash, never ending long loading screen, after crash.
Same thing happened to my Fallout 3.
...go pc!

Need I say more?

Lol@ saying consoles are expensive.
Blu ray is not popular. How many homes do you think have blu ray? If it was popular, corporations wouldn't still be pushing it.
Bluetooth does not need a whatchamicallit. You need to buy a bluetooth device such as a microphone, which you plug into a usb port.
They are.
In the long run they cost more, short term, they are definitely cheaper.
If you're poor, then yes, they are.
How? 300 dollars + 60 dollars a game, where I can get a pc for 600 dollars for 20 dollars or less a game. Add in psn+ and xbox live also.
Also, accuracy is so much better for FPS with PC, even though precision is decreased. It's a worthy trade.
For example, battlefield bad company 2 is $54 on amazon for the xbox. For the pc, it is $20.
BFBC2 is still really popular.
