Now as the title says, I need help choosing a good PSU for this rig. Any incompatibilities you find, or recommendations on improvements would also be greatly appreciated. I am hoping to use this computer for moderate gaming, possibly Skyrim and definitely Mass Effect 3 when it comes out.
The lower the price the better! But try to keep it under $800, if possible.
Yeah 1000W is too much. I'd recommend 1000W if you had some GTX580's in SLI but Sandy Bridge isn't a particular power hog. Usually when you see a PSU of over 750W it's on a system with something like a 990X and SLI/Crossfire or a PII X6 with CrossFire.
Also, the extra $30 for a 2500K is worth it if performance is what you want.
I like this PSU if you're concerned about not having enough power:
You can easily get away with 500W with those specs. If you ever want to SLI/Crossfire in the future, look for at least 750W just so you don't have to upgrade your PSU.

Alright thanks, But lets see if anyone else has an opinion.
Your opinion is fine, I'd just like a second one.

You won't notice the difference when gaming.
At 4.8ghz you sure will
Less than 10% of i5-2500K's can OC to 4.8 GHz. OP is also not buying an aftermarket cooler. And if anything, the graphics card will hold him back.
Thinking about coming a mod to simply not moderate.
