Hello and welcome to the Megathread for almost anything anime or manga related!
There has been enough of the same threads that it would be much nicer to have a single main thread where questions, answers, lists, or even reviews could be posted. I also see it as an opportunity to have some resources for the new or even old users to use. Hey, you might have something you wanted to share with us that could be very useful to the rest of us, but it may not really be good enough to start a single thread with just a link. That is where this thread comes in handy as well.
Now before you ask about whats below let me just say this. There are alot of readers or different sites out there that allow you to watch or read from them. With that, it would be a lot on myself and readers to have to see all those linked in this thread. So my solution would be if you can't find somewhere to watch or read something, ask here and see if anyone can assist you.
Indexing Sites
MyAnimeList - A quick and easy way to catalog your anime/manga that you've read or watched or find new stuff related to your interests! (PM me if you want to add me as a friend on here. :3)
AniList- Similar to Myanimelist. There site is innovative, clean, and have a modern twist to it. They stay rather update to date as well.
Hummingbird.me - Also in the same category as the two above. Has same kinda feel as Anilist, though unsure about what they've done since I joined the beta back when.
Anichart- From the same folks from Anilist, Anichart does exactly what the name implies. More about keepign up-to-date with the newest anime and series from season to season. Also have the ability to change where you're re-linked to when you find a series of interest (e.g. MAL, Hummingbird, Anilist)
Baka-Updates - Not sure if an Anime has been released recently? This helps to at least look for when sub groups have released their stuff online.
MangaUpdates - Sister site of Baka-Updates. Same use but just with Manga.
Image Sites
WARNING: Most of the sites may contain nudity/sexual acts/etc. This can't be helped if you want a large variety of image choices, screenshots, fan art, etc. If this bothers anyone, then use Google Images search for other results.
If a moderator would like me to remove these links at any point please PM me.
Use at your own risk.
Danbooru - If you need to find some images of characters from show or book, sites like Danbooru might be your best source. It's user submitted images may it be fan art or not but also contains a fair amount of nudity.
I'm currently rotting my brain on Panty & Stocking for some reason or another.
I watched Panty and Stocking for a litte bit once it came out however just never got back into it. After awhile I mentioned it to my girlfriend and she enjoyed it a lot and wanted me to finish it with her. I have to say I have to agree with her. It was really funny but the story could be so much more better :/.
You need this: http://www.youtube.com/user/funimation in the OP. Funimation puts a lot of shows they (make? not sure if they make them or sponsor them) up to watch for free on their youtube channel

Pretty much, Funimation is the America's #1 place for Anime that have been finally dubbed in english or if the Japan company had been bought out by them. They've been really trying lately to get out more of the major series that have been extremely popular over in Japan and bring it over here to America. Still i'll add it up in a second.

Most manga fans I've talked to are in love with Naruto, but it seems to me that the story is just too damn long.
I've watched all three of those to a point. Finished Death Note, which was good, however couldn't really get into watching or even reading Bleach or FMA. As for the manga, yeah when I was in Highschool most of the manga that was checked out was other kids that are just getting into Naruto and going crazy over it. I used to watch it till Shippuden then just stopped after that really.. Got rather boring after that.
I'll add CR maybe, however to be honest, I don't like dubs either way but I have a good portion of people who'd rather have dubs over then subtitles. The same might be true here as well. More so CR died for me personally many years ago before all the copyright issues came around to it.

So what is everyone watching/reading as of late?
I still have to finish up a few episodes of Elfen Lied (Anime) and Highschool DxD (Anime) as either I lost interest in one or just forgot to finish. Hopefully i'll have some spare time to finish them soon :/.
I've been watching Acchi Kocchi (waiting for Tsumiki to finish up), Arcana Famiglia, Binbougama Ga, Hyouka, Jinrui, Joshiraku, Kokoro Connect, Natsuyuki Rendesvous, Tari Tari, and Yuru Yuri S2.
There are some others that I'm watching, but not as immediately as the ones listed above.
In terms of rewatching/watching non-airing stuff, I'm watching Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, Trigun (rewatching), Soul Eater (rewatching), NGE 2.22, E7, and some other stuff.
It sure seems like a lot, but most of the stuff I'm watching is currently-airing stuff, so I spend most of it waiting for new episodes to air.

Yeah most of the stuff I have planned to watch is aired so really it comes down to the waiting game. I have plenty more however for mangas that take way to long to come out sometimes..
Is it just me, or does the amount of blatant fanservice increase with each season's passing...
The amount of intelligent, beautiful, and or interesting anime is dwindling away, and being replaced with utter garbage like "Boku wa H ga Dekinai" and "Hagure Yuusha no Estetica"...
I recently started an anime blog/forum and I've had a hard time finding good new shows to review. I didn't really want to review old stuff because most people will have seen the shows already XD

Yeah I would agree on most of the newer series out there. I don't mind on some series to have a lot of fanservice, however when most to all have that or just use it as filler just kinda ruins it for me really. And if it doesn't have enough good humor or even a good story plot line, that fanservice just kills the whole show for me.
However I do have to say i'm still a sap for it even if at points I wonder why I even watched it in the first place..
I know what you mean. Like in Bakemonogatari, the story is REALLY REALLY GOOD, but there is also a whole lot of fanservice/erotic jokes, but they only add to the main characters kind of quirky personality so it actually seems like it FITS in the show, and makes me want to see more.
Also @OneWingedPie, if you haven't seen AnoHana yet, prepare to cry when you do watch it. It's easily the most tear-jerking anime in all of history.

I threw it together so we had something up atleast. If anyone would make something else and everyone likes it I don't mind changing it.
I think its OK.

I've been meaning to watch that, but I've been rewatching some stuff I saw on AW a while back lately.

Cool
You mean Crunchyroll. No one wants to watch dubs.

And now it's the best legit source for anime.
