Anyway, adding on to what Dinh said: this definitely is an improvement over Season 3, but I can't say for sure if this is better than Season 2 (or 1, for that matter), at least in my opinion.
I remember Lauren saying something about that on a video a while back. I really do wonder what the show would be like had she stayed.
She did have some interesting ideas, for what i can tell she wanted the show to have a more solid continuity, a set lore and more adventure episodes.
In any case i doubt it would be that different, we would still have Princess Mispelled Twilicorn and EqG since all of those ideas were force by Hasbro (as far as we can tell) not from the animation studio.
Besides i also find ridiculous the idea that her only presence improves the quality of the show by several orders of magnitude.
Well i have found it pretty enjyable, mora than the third one. But i think the quyality of the show has remained more of less constant along the last 3 seasons, yet there was as sensible improvement from SE1 to SE2.
I think that in this season finale Twilight and friends will fight and Ocopus army with RAINBOW p0WAH!!!!!

Thanks to Coco and Flutterbat, I've been visiting it more often. Can't say I visit other things on the site though since I'm caught up in some stuff at the moment.
