Well I can see it going one of two ways. Straight clop. Or a raunchy comedy thing. Not so much so it's clopable, but the inherent sexual humor works to make it steamy, but funny.
There's a fic on fimfiction called Estrus that deals with Twilight being in heat but apparently not knowing what it is, and it has a ton of that kind of humor, and it's hilarious. It was actually the inspiration for the mods saying that adult humor deserves a Mature tag even if there's nothing explicitly... explicit. I'd suggest it, but you should probably look it up yourself; I shan't post it for fear of being banned.
It is funny how a joke can end up being taken as real. But at least Mrs. Faust is having fun.
Not necessarily. Well, maybe the pegasus part was (considering there's not enough gas in a turd to make it float anyway, unless magic), but the "poop anywhere" part is a very acceptable explanation.
But, if I remember correctly, Rarity's mother wears pants (and is the only pony known to do so). Does she doff them to crap in the road? If so, doesn't that call unnecessary attention to it, making a possibly already uncomfortable act even more so?
After googling around a little i learn that narwhal's horn is not a horn is a tusk, it did not evolved from a teeth it is a teeth. And after looking at some pictures of the skulls it is clear that it sprouts from its jaw, not is forehead.
You misread that sentence; I meant that unicorn horns evolved from teeth that are similar to narwhals' teeth. And yes, I knew that.
But i do not think unicorns ancestorns had a weird teeth that grew backwards through their palate and onto the forehead which could evolve a horn from.
Who knows? Weird things happen in evolution. Besides, the main reason for that theory is that teeth are filled with nerves already, whereas bone typically isn't (plus, a protrusion from the cranium would have to be filled with cerebral fluid, which would just complicate things; having it be a separate area is a simpler explanation).
Horns likely migrated from the upper jaw (which is connected directly to the cranium anyway) over and out. Or else it was just a mutation that caused an extra tooth to grow in a place it shouldn't have. Similar things happen; by changing just one or two genes, you can make a chicken grow teeth in its beak, or put legs where a fly's antennae should be.
In any case i think pulling it off would be quite hard. The presuure nedded might snap the unicorn neck or break the horn before it would come off. It is worth noting that narwhal's tusk were not pulled off but sawed off from the dead creature.
That's mainly due to the tusk's size, I believe. Assuming a unicorn's horn is set in flesh similar to our gums and not in the same cavity as the brain itself (see: above) or otherwise fused with the cranium, it would indeed be hard, though not impossible, to yank it out.
I assume this only for the sake of the body horror, though. It does make fairly little sense for the horn to not have fused with the bone; it already made the trip from the jaw, why not stick itself in while it's there?
This show just doesn't have the same impact it did in season three.
Not sure if declining quality, or just hoary and nostalgic...
But I have the same issue. I mentioned before that I'll probably be gone from the fandom by S4, both due to loss of interest and beginnings in other places. The Zelda fandom, for one, looks interesting.
1. Sun axe. Although smexy, it was too big and heavy. Brought imbalance by taking all the focus.
2. Scrotum blade. I liked this one, but I felt it turned her horn into a phallic symbol. Cannot unsee. >_<
3. Bottle opener. First design, didn't flow well.
4. Moonybrow. Too many superhero vibes. Clashed with her chestpiece.
5. Rhino spike. Too rhino. Perhaps a similar design would work for non-unicorns.
6. Celestias copypaste. Just no.
1. Balance it by making the rest super-awesome, like you did with Luna. I'm sure you could've beefed up her armor some here and there.
2. Oh God. You didn't have to tell me that.
3. I agree on this one, but maybe changing the color could've helped. Just a lighter silver, perhaps.
4. Sort of agree here, but with a little bit of redesign it could've worked.
5. I didn't get that vibe at all. Maybe because neither "horn" was curved, and they were around the same length. Plus, evoking a rhino could work, if done well.
6. Agreed.
"I dug one thousand holes": it is a common joke that orphanages would put the orphans to work digging holes, like with prisoners. "Cut a rug with orphan foals": 'cutting the rug' is old slang for 'dancing'."
I understand because I know English isn't your native tongue, but I found those rather obvious. Also, FiW ftw, its songs especially.
At first that bothered me, considering the writers and editors of this comic should've noticed a mistake like that way before shipping. Then I realized that, due to it being Discord-related, the error was probably put there just to jitter my critters.
Does anyone have Issue 2 of the IDW comic online yet? I'd love to read it, but I am poor and vehicleless, and none of my floormates would ever consent to driving me to a comic store to buy an MLP comic.
Pleeeeeeeeeease let the directors do what they want to do with their show. They can decide to do it or not and we don't have anything to say about it. It's like when they edited Derpy's voice. They don't require our opinion on it to make changes and it's better that way.
He wasn't stating that he had any domain over the writers. He was just expressing his distaste in a possible decision, and his hope that it didn't end up being fulfilled. You can dislike something without claiming that it has to be one way or another.
Yeah, the directors can do as they choose. But we don't have to like it.
Favorite pony? Mine's Twilight, with a special place in my heard for Octavia.
For the new guy: Reps all around, and two fanart.
Not the best humanization, I know, but stylistically/aesthetically I still like it.
Bro, I gotta say Rainbow Dash is the best, and Derpy. The only reason I became a brony is because of SlyFoxHound when he was talking about RD crapping out rainbows (I was like WTF). I checked it out and then... you know the rest.

Sounds like something I'll need to explore down the line. Also sounds like the brief comic series Weaver did. Summer Heat Field Trip. Except, R64 snails knows what it is, and is in that awkward moment being among a lot of turned-male-via-R64 ponies and has to muscle through a camping field trip without loosing his her mind.
"Sight of the Battle of Discord."

In any case I think it works oddly to my favor in terms of creative plans. Now that I'm doing humanizations of the ancient villains I've had the idea to attach narratives and draw them out in a loose direction. So I'm likely to draw Sombra and Discord in through their rise and inevitable fall at the hand of Equestria's God-Queens.
The basic format has ended up being intro - [rise] - clash (I had a whole different word in mind for this, but that part of my head shut off) - fall.

You mentioned that. I read it. My first thought was that Snails was just a hermaphrodite, much like snails.
ehh... I have weird feels about this... part of me kinda doesn't want this to be canon, mostly because of what it would take for this to make sense in the storyline. To be honest, I think Hasbro's stepping into iffy territory with this, in this assertion of creative influence. Character development is one thing, but to undergo physical transformation is in an entirely different subject. And this is probably why Twilicorn is such a sore subject for some. But on the other hand, I do believe the staff have the capacity to make this into something good. it's just that my worst fear is that they half-ass it, and go "hey Twilight, you're a decendant of royal blood, and you can become an anicorn", stuff gets all Sailer Moon up in here, while everyone just stares all googly-eyed at the spectacle, and that this development leaves a huge, gaping plothole in the story that raises more questions than it answers. I won't hold it against anyone if this must come pass, but all I hope is that it's done well. If the rumor mills are true, and that she really becomes an alicorn, and it is in fact during this season's finale, If her ascendance to alicorndom is one of the main focuses of the two part finale, hell, even if they didn't add a villain in it and it's a series of challenges for her to overcome to become an alicorn, I feel that this would give them enough time to adequetly give this development, backstory, premise and a satisfying conclusion. And with the latter, I feel, might actually make for a rather interesting two-parter, a refreshing change-of-pace from having Equestria being assailed by some evil figure. In the worst case, season 3 ends on a rather sour note for me. In the best case, I, along with Twilight come to accept her new role as an alicorn. But either way, this'd most likely open the floodgates for people to make fics for alicorn OCs
It's funny. Just a week ago I thought MLP and bronies was gay. Look at me now.
A bit late to the party, but here goes:
btw, I shared a similar sentiment prior to becoming a brony. Not so far as to label it "gay" but I was of the opinion that there was no way a show directed at children, could be of a quality that it could be enjoyable to adult males. It wasn't until october of last year, that I discovered bronies, and this curious situation led me to go and find out what the deal was. And the rest, as they say, is history.
Welp... seems like Lauren's particular Twitter finally became a comic... (if you're confused about what's been going on, click the title above the comic):
Saw this comment on reddit and it makes a lot of sense: Lauren is no longer working on the show, so she's trying to discredit herself from canon.
She's just kidding around, plain and simple. What would trying to get people to stop regarding her as canon accomplish? Besides, this was all triggered by someone asking about poop, not her own spontaneity.
Faust, come on. Neon doesn't glow unless it's ionized by passing electricity through it.
Also, I'm somewhat surprised that she calls her "Derpy."
So, gentlemen... I have a shameful secret: I've been holding out on you. I discovered a rather interesting comic not too long ago, but it only had a few pages, so I decided to just keep track of it myself and post it when there was more.
I still don't know how long the rest is going to be, nor how many times I'll have to make subsequent dumps of this comic, but here's everything there is so far:
Good to see you. Welcome to the herd.
Thanks!
Wow, In my opinion, that looks awesome and must have taken long to make.

Do. It's one of two stories I've read twice, the other being Twilight Sparkle Gets a Free Salad. By virtue of being short and comedic, of course.
You mentioned that. I read it. My first thought was that Snails was just a hermaphrodite, much like snails.
Yeah, forgot to mention that, trollish grammar aside, it's still really supercool.
More zodiponi!

Well, I'll be sure to make an effort to remember. I just need to get out of this slump of not reading.
