That's exactly what I'm trying to achieve when I draw something.
I'm not trying to make it as .. eh.. damn how do you say that? I'm not trying to make it look exactly like how it does IRL.
It doesn't really matter to me, as long as the idea get across easily and I think I did it pretty efficiently. I didn't took the time to remember how many squares a chessboard has, or how the game works. I just drew some lines in a X pattern to make squares. I wasn't even aware it was 6x7 until someone mentioned it.
That like that time with my drawing where Twilight is welding. I had a lot of "That's not how actual welding works!" comment. I couldn't care less, I just wanted Twi to be welding.
Everybody understood what was happening in the drawing? Mission accomplished as far as I'm concerned. It's art, afterall.
Something that I found making checkered planes easy to make when laid out to perspective is to make the respective grid as if you were looking down at it from the above face. Then go in and warp it to apply to perspective.
Something I tried to do here. But I probably could have done it better looking back it months later to make the perspective a lot more obvious. But it served its purpose.
I don't know if you can do this in PaintSAI though. But if you got the tools at hand it may be something worth looking into to establish a rouge idea that could be drawn over top of.
I want to enjoy this oh so much because everything else is wonderful, but this chessy part of me is speaking.
Like you said, it is stupid to be like that. It's my fault anyways. I've made this mistake before: comitting a draw and thinking because my opponet couldn't move anywhere safely then I had won. In the back of my mind I knew something was amiss, but I overlooked it. Sorry, Rumble.
Please don't hate me. I feel like bronies rub it in my face sometimes... I always have "Did you watch MLP last night?" and "NEW SEASON FOR APPLEJACK!" spammed by bronies on my twitter and youtube. Wanna know why? An avatar with rainbow behind it. They think Pyro is a brony because he/she loves rainbows and lollipops. TF2 takes place in 1972 or something like that, so MLP didn't exist back then. I am not against bronies or anything, I think it's great you love doing what you do but I don't like it when people talk about it all the time when something has a rainbow or smiley face and they accuse it of being a pony lover.

1) Get a new avatar (feel free to ignore this option)
2) Just ignore them. It's bound to happen everywhere since, y'know, internet.
On an added note, this is pretty much why I'm a closet brony. Sure, people may feel the need to share something they like with someone else, but it's wrong to constantly spam about it. There's also the fact that some people, particularly haters/flamers, will associate the whole brony community/fanbase as a whole, so yeah ._.

I don't think anyone here is going to disagree with you. Some people need to learn when the appropriate time to mention something is. You don't need to make a connection to MLP with everything.
My favorite band is Caravan Palace, who produce electro-swing. Electro-swing isn't the best-known genre in existence, so when a pony-themed music video was made for one of their songs, that was a lot of people's first experience with the band. Thus, people flooded Clash's official video with comments saying "Ponies brought me here" or "Like if you're a brony." When they found other songs by Caravan Palace, they did the same thing. And now there's a 50% chance that any given electro-swing song on youtube (yes, even by other bands) will have a brony/non-brony war in the comments. It irks me to no end.
Now, I don't mean to push, but have you tried the show yourself? It really is rather good. I can recommend a great episode to start on if you like.

The intro was too happy. I skipped the intro and watched part of the show. Not too good, and yet not too bad. I would watch it if there was nothing on, though.

Argh, y u reply while I edit =c Anyway, it's fine if you don't like the show or are neutral about it. So long as you don't flame about it here, we're fine

I'm not the one to flame. That would be against the rules and also I don't want another infraction, I already have one.
Well, thank you so much for being open-minded toward us. A lot of people aren't.
Bronies are caring and go through a lot because of their nature of liking My Little Pony. I try to be nice to pony lovers (except when this brony at school hit me because I was walking too slow. I remember spraining my wrist from that, and I know a normal friendly brony wouldn't hurt people like that.)
In addition, whoever can tell me what this is a crossover of gets a cookie:
I think
Shadow of the Colossus?
Also, this. Spoiler is just for image size.
The thing we're referring to is this.
It's basically 630,000 words, so I kinda feel sorry for the guy and a bit angry just cause he wouldn't think of to check for this kind of thing in the first place. I don't even know why I shared this in the first place, but oh well.
My Spore crossover ideas had suffered another evolution. Here's the current idea log:
Generation 1: A Grox spaceship flies by the Sagetha planet, and discover the Prospi species. Seeing as they might be a future threat later on, the Grox erradicate the species by sending them all over different planets, and end up sending one of the Prospians into Equestria.
Generation 2: The Prospi Empire is in war with the Flixxel Empire. The king and queen order the Captain (the character you control during Space Stage) to send their daughter, the sucessor to the empire, to a dimension their older civilizations (NOT Tribal Stage, it's around the beginning of Civilization Stage) discovered in a science project mishap. The captain warns the king that it was a long time ago and that the landscape might have changed it. The king considers it for a while, but an enemy Flixxel ship blasts the City Hall's roof away, forcing the captain to send the baby one way or another. True to the captain's warnings, the baby Prospian arrives at the ruins located deep within the Everfree Forest.
Generation 3: The Prospi Empire is in war with the Flixxel Empire. The king and queen order the Captain to send their future sucessor (which is currently an egg, by the way) to a kingdom they made contact with around the beginning of Space Stage. Like in G2, the same incident happened, and the egg arrived in the ruins. The egg fortunaly hatches safely there and the baby Prospi proceeds to live like a regular creature on Creature Stage would, evoluting uncivilized. However, he evoluted as he explored towards one direction in the Everfree, and guess what, it was the direction towards Ponyville. Now fully-aged and with a big brain, the Prospi starts acting tribally-like on the 'safe' section of the Everfree Forest. Eventually, Fluttershy flies near there looking for some items in the florest, and discovers the odd, small red creature living in a hut with a fireplace. Not much is thought after that, but it ends with the spaceship along the Omnipotent Captain, the King and the Queen returning to Equestria to take their son back, and after they do, they use the 'Return Ticket' ability for Shamans(even though they are Traders in my game) to return back to their planet.

It sounds pretty good so far. I would recommend to keep going.
Also, like my new avatar? It's a reference to the distant past. Only MBM and a couple of other old-timers will "get it".

Shadow of the Colossus, one of the best games ever made.
Also, someone is writing a Dark Souls/MLP crossover. Hurray.
Now to see if there's any good reference images of Sanquine...

I haven't even watched one full episode and because of the spam I can name a few characters already :/
Fluttershy

Derpy Hooves
Rainbow Dash
Applejack
Pinkie Pie
you probably know more than I do.

I don't know what I'm supposed to "get," really. Yeah, you had the canon, pony Pinkamena as an avatar for some time. Is that all?
Either way, I like it.
