try some Aloe Vera gel from an Aloe plant. It's known for its natural healing properties for first to second degree burns. Sunburns are within this category. Aloe plants are pretty common at plant shops and the like and I'm sure you can buy just the gel at most drugstores. I hope you feel better.
Thanks. I also heard Preparation H after being chilled works as well. I haven't tried that yet though.
Well as for the welder. Anything I should make? I have plenty of sheet metal and some old iron. After I get this f****** welder working though! It will not ark!
I'm sorry, but I can't practice anything. I can barely hold a pencil much less make a line. I have had this shaky hands think since I was born. Never had a decent dexterity... Well, off to bed with me... I may try my hand again some time soon, when I can get to my old art stuff, but now to hope my welder doesn't claim my soul when I try to fix the thing... It gives me this evil look, I'll post pics tomorrow...
Ahh. I just don't keep track of any forums anymore. I am slow to take on forum behavior, to boot. I wish I was talented enough to draw... Maybe if the welder worked I'd try my hand with sheetmetal. But anyway, anyone got any good remedies for sunburn? I have it all over, so I rubbed vanilla into it. Sorta helped, and aloe vera didn't really do much. And no I won't buy sunburn cream, it doesn't work at all from my experience...
I got burned on my knee caps and I took it like a man. Probably because I have nothing for that at my disposal.....
So, I was at my friend Rachel's cottage for the past four days. While I was there, I ended up teaching her how to draw a basic furry character. In turn, she taught me how to shade. I'm rather proud of this picture, right here. Dakota Wilder, welcoming you back to your room. (Suspiciously modeled off of mine)
In other words, I'm not sure what to say. It's like an optical illusion.
Well, is that a good thing? I mean, her and I intended for it to be 3D, but..
Also, I've noticed that you're a Kiwi. I approve, I visited New Zealand last summer. Beautiful place.
I'm Canadian by the way.
Anyways, getting back on topic, any more art to share?
Truth be told, I haven't gotten anymore art to share because the SFW ones are getting rare on my Tumblr dashboard I'm just a bit lazy to post stuff here anymore. Especially since OCT's kinda gone now.

I'm leaving the forum, if anyone cared. You can find me on OC or FFR.
New commission! Me on the beach! http://www.furaffini.../view/11153478/
Artist wanted to practice shading fur and given the chosen theme (in the light) we ended up having the same idea for the best way to do that X3
Quite cute. Somebody though really loves their water brush. All that fur detailing must taken quite a long time, curious if they use a custom blotmap, but probably.
An I find it fun when I have the same idea as another artist, it gives a sense you are not alone.

Quite nice. The perspective is also well done, which is a zone I lack in...
Well at most you went the correct path and learned how to sketch figures from imagination before going into coloring and shading. And this is how you learn, you teach/learn from one another.
Speaking of RPs, someone make an actual furry RP already. Waskom and Enorym are too busy playing Spiral Knights but I still beg them.
I feel the same, Borderlands 2 is getting a bit difficult, that thought aside, I kind of want to try to make one, but a good backstory thingy takes time. Ill leave to the professionals. I must optimize my optimism by thinking about things that are not rps!

You're only insane once you believe you're insane.

Mind me asking what you define as modern art? I myself am not even sure what counts as "modern" art anymore.
There really is no definition because there are so many different iterations and so many different believed definitions. But unfortunately these days modern art has just become a race to originality, it causes artists to do some of the stupidest things for the sake of being "first" only once and a while someone will come up with something brilliant.
Basically, it's not the word I hate or it's definition, it's the culture. Being a fine art major and getting a degree in modern arts, I get a lot of this culture... that being said, if any of my modern art teachers saw my furry stuff I've been posting here, they would disrespect me for it.

Practice! There are no express ways to do it.
Even a blank canvas is considered art - as long as it has 'meaning' to it.
My hands are extremely shaky (trust me, this is why I threw away my Festive Ambassador and hardly used my AWPer).
I just focus at the task at hand and stroke the lines.
I got burned on my knee caps and I took it like a man. Probably because I have nothing for that at my disposal.....
I was lurking around on some earlier posts and I saw that.
My problem with art is the fact I can't.... express it right? Also my terrible handwriting may be a culprit too.

I think I'll just step out for a minute.

And I have a suspision I have MPD.
I also realized I suck at art :/. I would take a picture of how bad it is, but im lazy.
I need to eat the pizza I microwaved too

Not sure what any of that means, but I've noticed you play Borderlands. Borderlands 2? On steam? We should game.
Er, I don't have steam or ps3. MPD is multiple personality disorder(Wich Krieg the pyscho has(I recommend buying him, if your into melee that is))

So is one of the guys I RP with.
